Tucker is the kind of dog who makes you stop and smile. With his wagging tail, charming little face, and big personality packed into a compact 18-pound frame, it’s hard not to fall in love. He was found near the border of Mexico, alone on the streets and in rough shape — battling a horrendous infection in his nose and eyes. But even then, his tail still wagged. After a long journey of healing, care, and patience, Tucker is finally ready for a home of his own. We’re not entirely sure of his breed mix, but we are sure of this: Tucker is 100% adorable and absolutely ready to be someone’s best friend. He’s more into people than playgroups — he can coexist with other dogs, but his heart belongs to you. Tucker prefers human attention over doggy drama, and that’s just how he likes it. Cats? Not so much. He’s politely passing on those. You’ll often catch him tossing a ball in the air for himself, proudly parading his favorite toy around the yard, or trotting after you just to see what you’re up to. He’s smart, loyal, and oh-so-lovable. Tucker’s past wasn’t kind, but his future looks bright — and he’s ready to share it with someone who’ll love him like he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who lives to love you, Tucker’s your guy. Tucker is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped and his adoption fee is $325. Glory is a sweet and tenderhearted little dog who is about 3 years old and weighs 29 pounds. She does have a warm-up period when meeting new people. Once she knows you will be kind to her, she loves to get attention and affection. She was rescued after being found tied up in a backyard with her 7 babies. She was infested with fleas and ticks and never lived her life off a chain. Coming from the environment she was in previously, it is apparent that she wasn’t handled very much so she just needs a few minutes to know that she is in a safe space. She gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue. She would do best in a calm and patient home without small children where she can get acclimated to her new surroundings and learn to trust. She is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call her own! Glory is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $325. Delta, Looking at her pictures, you'd never know she came in looking like a train wreck. This poor dog lived on the streets for years and she sure looked it when she came in. Those days are behind her now and she is ready to roll on to the next chapter. Delta is a around 6 yrs old and weighs close to 50 lbs and she is very true to her breed. She is a stubborn Basset Hound who will keep you laughing every day. We enjoy her antics around here and love watching her and her boyfriend Mack play. Delta was treated for heartworms and is currently being treated for Chagas disease. Don't let that worry you.... she is doing great and strong as a bull. She is doing great on treatment! She gets along best with male dogs but can coexisit with male or female if its the right dog.
