Martie is a 5-year-old hound girl with a heart as gentle as her big brown eyes. She came to us as a stray, thin and in need of care, but she’s slowly filling out and learning that life can be kind. Through it all, her sweet and friendly personality has never wavered, she loves attention and is always happy to lean in for some love. Martie does well with other dogs, but given her past, she prefers to eat separately so she doesn’t have to worry about sharing her meals, totally understandable! She’s a simple, soulful girl who just wants a soft bed, a full belly, and a family to call her own.

Tracker is a very sweet and mellow boy. He is new to the shelter and a wonderful hound. Tracker weighs approx. 48 lbs. and is gaining weight. Tracker is not a hunting dog, he much prefers to be a family companion. Tracker is ready for a home all his own. Come see him at the Rockbridge Spca or email manager@rockbridgespca.net. visit our fb page: dogs of rockbridge and rockbridge spca. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. we do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer.

Davis is a pretty walker hound he weighs 50 lbs. and has a fondness for both rabbits and chickens, so a fenced area is a must. Visit this outgoing boy at the Rockbridge Spca or email manager@rockbridgespca.net Heartworm tested: negative visit our fb page: dogs of rockbridge and rockbridge spca. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip.
