Meet Pony!! This sweet girl did not have the best start in life, but after spending some time experiencing a taste of the life she deserves, she is now ready to find her perfect home. She has been in a foster home the past few weeks and her foster mom says she has been a wonderful houseguest. She loved playing with her canine foster siblings in the home and exploring the backyard every chance she got. Pony can be a little shy at first, but after some gentle pets and showing her some lovin`, she will melt right into you. Pony is doing great with the potty training. She loves her crate and considers it her safe space, so having a crate set up for her in her new home where she can go and relax when needed is a must for success. She would love a home with another canine to show her the ropes, help build her confidence and to play - she has some energy when she wakes up from her naps! Pony can be a little protective of her food if another canine is nearby, so please feed her separately from any other canines in the home. Pony is unfortunately heartworm positive and will need to undergo treatment at our clinic after going home; luckily though, our friends at PETA have covered the treatment costs! Meet Banger! This sweet hound boy didn`t have the greatest start to life, but after much TLC, he`s ready to find his new home! Banger is a very active boy that loves walks and is very passionate about getting there fast. Banger is so eager to go on walks that he may slip past you on the way out. He can definitely make you put some pep in your step on walks so we are requiring no first time dog owners. Banger may be a little shy at first and has not been around many dogs so we will require that everybody in the home comes to meet him before adoption, including other dogs, just to make sure everybody gets along. Children in the home will need to be 12 and up. Once he gets comfortable though, Banger is a sweetheart who loves attention and loves running and playing! He loves to eat and loves playing with toys, but he has been known to get a little protective over both, so make sure to give any food, treats, or toys separately if you have any other animals at home. He is food motivated which should help with training. Banger is also not super educated in normal dog life, especially leash walking and potty training, so he will need some help with training and owners who have had dog experience in the past! Lastly, Banger is unfortunately heartworm positive and will need to undergo treatment at our clinic after going home; luckily though, our friends at PETA have covered the treatment costs!
