For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Meet Sloane Sloane is a 7-year-old Walker Hound mix with a gentle heart and the sweetest soul. After making the journey from Georgia to Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue, she’s settled beautifully into foster care and is ready to find the forever family she’s been waiting for. Inside the home, Sloane is wonderfully calm and easygoing. She’s happy to be near her people, quietly observing the action from her favorite cozy spot. Outside is where her hound instincts come alive! She enjoys leisurely walks with plenty of time to follow interesting scents and explore the world with her nose leading the way. Sloane takes a little time to warm up to new people and situations, but once she feels safe, her playful, goofy personality begins to shine. She has a few playful bursts throughout the day, enjoys romping with the resident dog, and if you let her, she’ll happily curl up beside you like a 60-pound lap dog. She’s housebroken, crate trained, rides beautifully in the car, and has excellent leash manners. Sloane recently enjoyed a weekend up north and loved exploring the woods on long walks. She gets along well with other dogs, especially calm companions, and does great with children. While she’s very interested in the scents of small animals, she walks politely on leash and doesn’t chase them. Because of her hound instincts, she is not a good fit for a home with cats or other small pets. Story
Hattie is a 4 yo tree walking coonhound. We can guarantee that she is a kind soul who is always curious (her sniffer is always working ??) and lively (gravity doesn`t know her ??). She`s working on crate training and polite manners but she is fully potty trained - she howls when she needs to go outside so it`s hard to miss! She`s a confident, enthusiastic young dog who is always down for a dog play date. We think she would do well with an active family and fenced in backyard. Her only request are weekly pup cupsYou can also watch for stories, pictures and videos about me on our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/JrsPupsNStuffInc or Instagram https://www.instagram.com/jrspupsnstuff/Ask to meet me today!!Adoption fee: Check Back soonAll dogs/puppies have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Story
Meet Betsy. Betsy is a Beagle possibly Shepherd mixed cutie pie. She is 8 years young, enjoys the company of people and is totally potty trained. At 45 lbs. she is the perfect size for most homes and puppy shenanigans are a thing of the past. While she enjoys the outdoors and doing the typical Beagle sniff around, a home where she can relax with you inside and savor some family time would be a dream. Regular walks are also on her wish list. Betsy is crate trained but is not overly eager to travel in one. She is somewhat wary of strangers and does experience anxiety when she’s around other animals. Betsy is good with children of all ages. She is in good health and does well eating kibble for sensitive stomachs served in a puzzle bowl to keep her from gobbling up her food. Does Betsy sound like a good match for your family?
