Story
Stella does not show any feelings of superiority or showiness -- she is humble and modest and has a soft and serene meow. Stella is sweet, easy going and lovable. She delights in hiding in small dark places or treasures a favorite bedroom. When Stella curls up for a nap, she covers her nose with her tail! Stella appreciates a windowsill to sit on to watch what's going on outside. She enjoys having her chest massaged and her head petted. Stella adores being cradled and sleeps with her human companion at night. When she is picked up, Stella melts into a puddle of fur. Her ideal home is with an individual or couple, an adult human home. Stella will hit it off with a human and seek out that one person to be her constant companion and whom she will be protective of. Stella is bonded with littermate Zeus; therefore, they must be adopted together. A home with no other pets is perfect. She is a 9-year-old Turkish Angora with odd eyes (heterochromia) and has an elegant body with a plumed tail. Stella is declawed on the front paws and must be an inside cat only (Friends of Jackson County disapproves declawing as the claws are a vital part of every cat). She is on special food for digestive issues. Stella has severe flea allergies that can be kept in control with flea prevention. Please consider the additional expenses to keep Stella healthy and comfortable. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Story
Zeus, he rules as the king of gods in the home as though he was in Mount Olympus! Zeus loves to be near his human companion and follows you from room-to-room; he will most often be nearby. Zeus is vocal when he wants something, if you ignore him, Zeus will tap you on the face with his paw! He will bump your hands for petting and if that doesn't work, expect a love bite. Zeus is known to jump on your shoulder to perch. He will seek out a windowsill to get a view of his kingdom. Zeus uses a wall mounted corner scratcher when filled with cat nip. He tolerates being brushed and picked up. Zeus' ideal home is with an individual or couple; he makes friends easily with male humans. Zeus will form a close personal relationship with his human family and protect them from strangers. Zeus is bonded with littermate Stella; therefore, they must be adopted together. A home with no other pets is perfect. He is a 9-year-old Turkish Angora with odd eyes (heterochromia) and has a tall body with a plumed tail. Zeus is declawed on the front paws and must be an inside cat only (Friends of Jackson County disapproves declawing as the claws are a vital part of every cat). He has a moderate heart murmur and occasionally may become anemic. Currently Zeus is not on any formal treatment and doing well. Story
This guy is a big mosh he loves to be babied and spoiled! He is kind of needy it’s very cute to see a big cat act like a little kitten. He has a sweet personality and enjoys canned food as well as dry! He would love a screen porch if possible. Indoor kitties are safest . He was found dumped and needed vet care, all scuffed up . Rouse is a great companion and loves to look out a big window.

Story
Sweet Suki is just a wonderful girl. She is sweet and docile. Amazing that she is so wonderful considering all that she has gone through. She was rescued wandering the streets. She was trapped and altered. Her finder decided to keep her since she was such a good girl. Her finder's circumstances changed, and she gave her away. All was fine until a new baby entered the picture. Her new guardians no longer wanted her, and was ready to put her back out on the street. When she came into rescue, she was in bad shape. Her skin was covered in scabs from a flea allergy and she was found to be FIV positive. She has since had the medical care that she needed, and is ready to find a home that she can live and be appreciated for the fantastic kitty she is. Won't you give her that perfect home?
