Story
Artemis and Athena are a bonded pair and to my understanding from when I adopted them are half siblings, having the same father but a different mother. They are VERY playful and enjoy hanging out with everyone in the living room. Artemis is shy but warms up to people in time. Athena is much more outgoing and will go up to every person in the room for pets. Due to life circumstances I will be moving every other year, possibly internationally and no longer will be able to care for them. They would be a great addition to someone’s family. They don’t do too well with other cats and would likely do better in a home where it’s just the two of them. I think they would do fine with a dog since they are a larger animal, but it may take time for them to warm up to that. I am hoping to find a loving family for them!

Story
Hello, my name is Snow White—though I was once known as Crumbcake. 🤍 I came to the rescue four years ago as a pregnant mama, and after raising my babies, I settled into the quiet, gentle life I truly enjoy. I’m a small, fluffy adult lady, about 9 years young, and I’m spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, litter box trained, and indoor-only. I’m a very well-mannered kitty. I don’t jump on counters or tables, I don’t scratch furniture or people, and I keep myself clean and tidy. I’m sweet, soft, and calm—truly a good girl. I do need scratchers (they’re a must!), and I love using them. With other animals, I’m peaceful but independent. I’m not aggressive at all—I mostly ignore and avoid them, though I do tolerate their presence. Dogs don’t interest me; I’ll quietly keep my distance and may relax a few feet away, but I prefer not to interact. Visitors make me shy, and I usually choose a safe hiding spot until things feel calm again. With humans, I just need time and patience. At first, I’ll hide while I figure out if you’re someone I can trust. Once I do, I become affectionate and cuddly in my own gentle way. I enjoy watching TV with you, being brushed, playing with toys, gazing out windows, and relaxing nearby. I move at a slow, thoughtful pace and appreciate a peaceful home. In a new environment, I may need a week or more to come out of hiding—and that’s okay. The best way to win my heart is to quietly care for me, feed me, and let me decide when I’m ready. Older children would be fine as long as they respect my space and let me warm up on my own terms. My current human loves me dearly but is facing serious medical challenges and upcoming surgeries, making it impossible for them to continue caring for me. I’m hoping for a calm, understanding home where I can feel safe and loved for the rest of my years. If you’re looking for a quiet, gentle companion with a soft heart and a fluffy coat, I might just be your Snow White. 🤍🐾

Story
Hello, my name is Bridget! I'm a stunning black beauty with a medium-haired fluffy coat, and I'm already stealing hearts. When you pick me up, I start revving my purr engine - I'm a little purring machine, after all! Cuddle time is my fave - wrap me in a blanket and I'm in kitten heaven, snoozing away in your arms. When I'm not snoozing, you can find me batting around toy mice or chasing that wand toy like it's my job. I'm a laid-back kitten, so I'll fit right in with calm kids, other cats, and even cat-friendly dogs - I'm a social butterfly, or should I say, social kitten! The best part? I'm up to date on my vaccines, spayed, and microchipped, and I'll be ready to find my forever home by January 21, but I'm ready to be preadopted now. Could it be with you? H

Story
Hello, my name is Kit Kat. My mom, siblings, and I were living in a nice couple’s yard who feed a few neighborhood cats in their backyard. Unfortunately, when I was four weeks old my eyes became very infected so my mom left me by the screen door of the nice couple’s house so they could help me. They took me in and to the veterinarian for medication to treat my eye infection. Once my eyes were all better, they contacted a rescue who would take me so I could find my furever home. The nice couple, Kit Kat’s first foster family, said he made their lives better and wanted to ensure he found his furever family. They were happy his mom chose them to help Kit Kat on his life’s journey. I am very happy and active boy with a loud purr who likes to play with the many toys my foster mom has given me. I like playing with wand toys, laser lights, balls with bells, tunnels, cat condos, kicker toys, and just about anything on the floor. Oh, I forgot to mention, I love looking in the bathroom mirror and looking at the handsome cat, who looks a lot like me! I have longer fur and the most beautiful white ear tuffs across the front of my ears. I am a very curious boy and like to check out whatever my foster mom has in her hands. I would be okay with other cats or kittens or cat savvy dogs with slow introductions. I have been neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. I won’t be ready to officially go home until the end of the week of January 5th, I am available to meet now and preadopt. Please let the rescue know if you would love to have your own Kit Kat.
