Hello: I adopted Augustus (senior) from a shelter in March of last year. He had gone through some trauma and wasn't taking care of his fur - he had some mats and the shelter shaved part of his coat. The shelter said he was dropped off before they opened so they didn't have much information about his siutation. His behavioral issues are that he is very picky about his food - I feel I have finally found food that he likes. He isn't using the litter box consistently so I have puppy pads surrounding the box for urine - he sometimes goes #2 on my bed (I have it covered with plastic and paper). On the plus side, he is a very nice cat and he only scratches the carpet. His coat brushed out and nails trimmed every two months by a groomer. Personally, I am dealing with my father with dementia and a brother with depression so the cat is another worry. I feel he would be better in another environment. He may be picking up on my stress. Cora is a beautiful approximately 8 year old, 14lb Turkish Angora. She is a loyal partner and will always want to be at your side and follow you everywhere you go I love her so much but due to having severe allergies, I have not been able to give her the full attention she deserves. Additionally, I am constantly jumping between my home and my partners home so she is often left with my family. She is very needy and needs a great deal of attention. She is strictly indoor but I've taken her outside a few times on a leash and she always wants to go out now. She has lost her two front teeth. The veterinarian says she’s needs a deep cleaning but I can’t afford it at this time. The ideal adopters should be able to provide her with lots of attention, preferably live in a stable and large enough home (she does not do well in small places), and be able to get her regular check ups.

Eclypse! Impossible to ignore, he's full of awe-inspiring energy, much like the solar and lunar celestial events. He and his siblings were born in a warehouse in Anaheim and brought into foster care at just two days old. Their mother, Nova—who also gave birth to KD fosters Wacko & Dot—had eluded the traps for too long. Once rescuers finally caught her, she stayed with her newest babies until they were old enough to be independent. Then, she underwent her spay and vaccinations before returning to her colony. From the start, Eclypse jostled his way through to get the best nursing spot. Not only was he a momma's boy, but also a greedy little milk hog. He eclipsed his siblings by emerging as the feistiest and fattest of the litter. However, when introduced to wet food, he lagged through the transition. Still, it didn't take him long to catch up, and he's never missed a meal since. Full of mischief and always up for fun, Eclypse loves to jump, roughhouse, and play fetch, although he's not the best at retrieving and returns. His half-brother and best buddy, Wacko, race one another to the apex of the cat trees, but when they're zoomed out, you can find them curled up together for a well-deserved nap. Eclypse, who currently resides in a foster home with his littermates, Komet and Nebulah, his older half-siblings Wacko and Dot, a small dog, and two human teenagers, would thrive best in a lively, social environment. Meet Lucky! Lucky is as sweet as can be! He loves meeting new people, and even headbutt and demanded pets from the vet staff during his exam. Lucky will make muffins on his favorite blankets and is an absolute purring machine. He also has LOVED getting brushed. This handsome young boy came to our rescue after being abandoned by his previous owners on the streets. When he saw a community member doing TNR in the area, he walked straight up to them and immediately requested to be pet. After confirming with the neighbors, posting online on various lost pet forums, and attempting every avenue to find a potential owner, it was confirmed that Lucky was left behind when his previous family moved. Lucky never lost his love for people and has been extremely resilient. He has been thriving in foster care, and has been so happy to be an inside cat again. We can't wait to help him find his forever home so he never has to feel the fear of abandonment again. Lucky would thrive in a home where he can look outside through the windows, someone to hang out with, space to lounge about, and someone to love him forever.
