Meet Miso: A Sweet, Independent Lady with the Most Adorable Raspy Meow! Miso is a charming and affectionate girl who knows exactly what she wants—and that's love on her own terms! This beautiful cat is a true gem: once she warms up to you (and she will, with a little patience), she'll seek you out for cozy lap sessions, head rubs, and gentle pets along her neck, back, and tail. There's nothing quite like the feeling when she chooses to curl up beside you or bump her head against your hand—it's her way of saying you're part of her inner circle. Miso has lived harmoniously with other cats and even a small dog, happily sharing space as long as everyone respects her boundaries. She's confident, low-drama, and perfectly content entertaining herself or lounging in her favorite spots. With her unique raspy little "meow," she'll chat with you in the cutest way when she's in the mood for attention. She's litter box trained (and prefers an open box for easy access), enjoys short brushing sessions, and is on a simple diet of Purina One dry and wet food. While she can be picked up briefly, she's not a big fan of prolonged cuddles or head pats right away—but go slow, and she'll surprise you with how trusting she becomes over time. Miso hasn't been around children, so she'd likely thrive best in a calm adult home (or with gentle older kids) where she can adjust at her own pace. She's the perfect indoor only companion for someone who appreciates an independent yet loving cat who forms deep, rewarding bonds. Snowy is a very shy kitty looking for a quiet ADULT ONLY home. At this time she just wants to hide, growl, and hiss. She was great with the other cats in the habitat room she shares.Snowy should be an inside only kitty since she is mostly white and susceptible to sunburn and skin cancer. Once settled she should be brushed at least once each week to keep her medium length fur free from mats.**WALK IN SHELTER TO ADOPT Tuesday Noon-5pm, Wednesday 12-6pm, Thursday-Sunday Noon-5pm (Closed Mondays and Holidays). Vivo is just three years young and looking for a loving home. Vivo is good with kids and gets along well with the older kids in the family, but he doesn't like being startled by the boisterous loud play of the 1 and 3 year old boys in the household. Vivo is a wonderful, gentle, loving and affectionate boy. He is a shy, sweet soul who is looking for a quieter home where he can relax and be his most happy self. Vivo loves to snuggle and there is no limit to petting with him, he will purr and make biscuits on your lap. He loves to sleep with his person and is quite the cuddle bug. Vivo loves catnip and will roll around happily when offered. Vivo is used to going outside and he is good about keeping to the yard. Vivo lives with another cat who he adores. He likes to follow him around and be his little shadow. He lives with two dogs and really enjoys the company of their mellow lab, but avoids the young, active dog as his energy is just too overwhelming for him.  Vivo would do best in a quieter home with older children, other cats and/or mellow dogs.  All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered.
