Story
Got this little guy from a Petco back in Florida. His name is Iroh and he’s just over a year old. We are at a point in our lives where it is no longer feasible to keep either of our cats (due to us working so much and moving) we would feel better knowing that he is with a loving family that has the time, space, and experience with cats. He’s rambunctious, smart, and energetic. He has only recently started becoming more and more vocal. He will tolerate holding and most pets. He loves getting behind his ears scratched and his tail pet. He doesn’t like his belly or sometimes his back paws being handled, however. Although to do his nails you just lay him in your lap and he’s fine. He isn’t a very cuddly cat, but occasionally will walk (sometimes lay) on you when you’re laying down and checks on you periodically. He is fairly social with other cats (grew up with two others) and is used to just indoors.

Story
A neighbor of ours, has a friend who lived next door to a person who was put into a nursing home. Her pets were left behind and being cared for by the neighbor. We offered to foster and adopt. We already have a calico, named Cali, and she has been with us for over 8 years and was always the only pet in our home. Oreo is such an easy going and friendly boy that we thought they would become friends. This is not the case. Cali is refusing to get along with Oreo, even though Oreo has tried in a friendly manner. Now Cali is refusing to be social. We have fostered Oreo for over 2 months and we cannot keep him. He is house trained and affectionate. He loves having his face brushed. He allows having his nails trimmed and we were able to bathe him in the shower.

Story
Lacey is 6 years old. She was raised by an elderly woman as an only cat. We adopted Lacey when her owner passed away. We have had her for 10 months and have tried to help her adjust. She has done well with myself as I am an adult female but she does not care for my 6 yr old daughter at all. She hisses at her, at our outdoor cat, and our dog. She also is not declawed and although we bought a scratch post she scratches the carpet. She is a beautiful cat and when she is not so nervous she is sweet to me and will cuddle with me. She needs a good home without children or other pets. Please help!
