Story
A neighbor of ours, has a friend who lived next door to a person who was put into a nursing home. Her pets were left behind and being cared for by the neighbor. We offered to foster and adopt. We already have a calico, named Cali, and she has been with us for over 8 years and was always the only pet in our home. Oreo is such an easy going and friendly boy that we thought they would become friends. This is not the case. Cali is refusing to get along with Oreo, even though Oreo has tried in a friendly manner. Now Cali is refusing to be social. We have fostered Oreo for over 2 months and we cannot keep him. He is house trained and affectionate. He loves having his face brushed. He allows having his nails trimmed and we were able to bathe him in the shower.

Story
Lacey is 6 years old. She was raised by an elderly woman as an only cat. We adopted Lacey when her owner passed away. We have had her for 10 months and have tried to help her adjust. She has done well with myself as I am an adult female but she does not care for my 6 yr old daughter at all. She hisses at her, at our outdoor cat, and our dog. She also is not declawed and although we bought a scratch post she scratches the carpet. She is a beautiful cat and when she is not so nervous she is sweet to me and will cuddle with me. She needs a good home without children or other pets. Please help!

Story
We found Simba in a parking lot. He was so young his eyes were still closed. He attempted to surrender him to the Humane Society but he was too young. We have had him since 2020 but with our busy schedules we are rarely home to give him the love and attention he needs. He loves to curl up on the couch with us and sleep . He’s a sweet loving cat that just needs a home that can give him the attention he needs

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Lovebug is a very special kitten full of loving, cuddle potential. Although she is very timid and shy, she becomes more trusting and outgoing everyday. Lovebug loves long daytime naps, salmon treats, and chasing around the laser light. While she appreciates a good under the chin and behind the ear scratch, Lovebug is still learning to love being petted and picked up. She could greatly benefit from another cat in the house to teach her the ways of the feline world and bring her more out of her shell. Lovebug is truly one of a kind!

Story
Hi, I'm Jelly - short for Jellylorum. I was living outside for the past four years, but then my feeder noticed my fur looked irritated. It turns out that I have flea allergies and should stay on flea prevention once monthly to keep my fur nice and beautiful. A couple of weeks have passed since I arrive at this rescue. Thankfully I was seen by the vet and my fur has grown back, and I don't have anymore scabs on my skin. Now, all I need is a loving forever home. Come meet me any Saturday at the rescue between 11am-3pm!

Story
Zorro is a sleek and mysterious cat with a charming personality. He's confident and curious, always exploring his surroundings with a playful spirit. Zorro loves interactive play and enjoys chasing feather toys and laser pointers. Despite his adventurous side, he also appreciates quiet moments curled up in a cozy spot, purring contently. Zorro is friendly and affectionate, forming strong bonds with his human companions. He's a loyal and loving feline companion, ready to bring joy and companionship to his forever home. Zorro means fox in Spanish and that's no coincidence! My fur coat of black fades into a brilliant reddish brown foxy fur color. I'm very unique. My fur is not only this gorgeous two toned harmony, it is also plush and long- medium long. While I am humble, the volunteer told me that I am stunning. But I think my secret power is my sweet heart. I come to you when you hold out your hand. And once I nudged my head or shoulder into your palm, this ignites my purr motor. I'll also lift up off my front paws to get a full body lean into your pets. I'm a little shy at first, but I am usually coast and bond quickly. I'm quiet, calm, and enjoy being on your lap. But I will always wait for you to introduce me to your lap. This is what polite cats do. I enjoy observing, but when I'm introduced to new surroundings, I may our forlorn meow, letting you know that I'm a little scared, and would like for you to pet me or be near me. Once you do, I relax and feel safe. I have no idea what treats and toys are but I do enjoy windows. Strange noises frighten me at first but then I recover quickly. I very much enjoy feeling safe and secure next to you.
