Found on the street by people and then later given to me by relatives concerned about her wounded and mostly healed broken leg, nothing is known about Lily's background. She is around 10, and looks like a Turkish Angora pure breed, though only a feline DNA test would truly prove if she were of that breed. She does have the gentle, slightly demanding, intelligence, and other traits of the Turkish Angora breed. She has a quirk of wanting to be watched while she is eating! I think it is because in her prior life on the streets, she was vulnerable to animal attacks while eating and now wants a guardian to protect her. She has an ongoing urinary-tract health issue, so she must always be fed specially formulated urinary tract cat food. Lily has been bullied by other cats in the past, so may prefer being an only cat. I love Lily very much, but personal financial issues have made it to where I have to make the heart-breaking decision to part with my dear Lily and my other cats.

Meet the most handsome and regal boy Clyde who would love to get to know you! Clyde lived his life outside before arriving at the shelter, so he is still learning to trust. Volunteers spend time with Clyde to help him gain trust and the progress continues. Once he feels he can trust you , he will gladly greet you with “meow” waiting for his special chicken treat. The catio is one of his favorite areas to catch some rays of sun. Or you may find him snuggling up to Bonnie who he is very close too. Clyde is looking for that special person who will continue to work with him in building trust and who wants to work on building the human animal bond. Clyde is bonded to Bonnie and they must be adopted together. Clyde would be best in a home with an experienced cat owner.
