Story
Meet Cheeseburger, a medium-haired black kitten who may have one of the most delicious names in the Hungry Hippos litter, but make no mistake—this girl is much more interested in chasing her dinner than eating it. Born June 25, 2026, Cheeseburger is a ridiculously fun, high-energy little athlete who appears to have been born with springs in her paws and absolutely no respect for gravity.
Cheeseburger is wonderful with men, women, and kids, and she enjoys the company of other cats. She’s also interested in dogs, although she becomes nervous when the canine comes a little too close. Give her some space and time to get comfortable, and she’ll happily continue her investigation from a safer distance. With people, Cheeseburger is affectionate and loves pets and snuggles—but only after she has sufficiently exhausted her supply of kitten zoomies. Once she’s tired, she’ll curl up, enjoy some affection, and turn on her sweet, quiet little purr.
But let’s talk about this girl's athletic résumé. Cheeseburger is an exceptionally talented climber who can scale practically anything. Cat trees? Easy. Furniture? Challenge accepted. Something you specifically thought was impossible for a kitten to climb? Cheeseburger would like to formally dispute that assumption. She’s also incredibly fast and loves chasing anything that moves at approximately the same speed she does—which is to say, very fast. She may actually be the quickest member of the litter and has no problem holding her own when wrestling with the boys.
Her foster discovered an especially sweet side of her after her first bath. Once she was wrapped up in a towel and getting dried off, Cheeseburger completely melted into the experience and purred her little heart out. So underneath all that parkour and high-speed chaos is a girl who absolutely loves being cozy once she has gotten the zoomies out. And naturally, every great athlete needs proper nutrition, so Cheeseburger is happy to accept Churu treats as her preferred form of post-workout recovery.
If Cheeseburger had a career, there is only one possible answer: Parkour Instructor. Her qualifications include scaling nearly anything, moving at alarming speeds, chasing objects with precision, and making gravity look more like a suggestion than a law. Her class schedule would be exhausting, but fortunately she offers cuddles after class.
Because Cheeseburger is a kitten, she is required to be adopted into a home with another kitten or young, playful cat who can keep up with her incredible energy and provide her with the feline companionship she needs. If you’re looking for a gorgeous black kitten who can climb like a professional, sprint like a race car, wrestle with the boys, purr through a towel burrito, and still make time for Churu, Cheeseburger is ready to report for duty.
