Adoption Donation: $200 All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption. An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. Hello! They call me Thumper. I am 1 years old, and I am a medium haired grey kitty girl. I'm somewhat shy but if you give me time and know how to bribe me (kitty treats!) I will be on your lap.I've learned while being in my foster home that the other kitties come to my foster family for affection. I say to myself Oh, I wish I could do that too. I watch and watch and guess what? I have started to come around and be closer to people in the past week. One day I got so brave I hopped on my foster Moms lap when she was watching TV. They call that baby steps but for a shy girl like me it's like one giant step. I like it when my foster Mom brushes my pretty fur. That's how my coat is so shiny and healthy. Also, I like it when me & my sister Po plus the other kitty girls hang out together. We have one big kitty pile and we groom each other. Got to stay pretty so our family's can see us.I hope when you come to visit me and choose me as your new pet my new family will be understanding on my shyness and can understand that time & patience for me to come to you. I know you'll have a lap waiting for me.Ill tell some secrets my foster Mom learned about me to build my trust. Classical music calms down and I LOVE Made by Nacho treats, well really any treats get this girl motivated!Know what I also love? My sister Po. You might have seen the pictures of me cuddling with a white kitty. That's Po. She's braver than me and I hope when a family comes to meet me, they can also meet Po and maybe we can go together. Two kitties are a blast to have and I will always have a best friend. A silly, greet-you-at-the-door goofball who's cuddly and playful (on HIS terms, per traditional cat etiquette). He's very vocal and has QUITE the entertaining range. When he's not staring into the ether, he spends his free time getting his head stuck in things, trying to sniff skincare products and making the best biscuits in town. The only times he's ever been outside, was to saunter about 2.5 ft. onto the front porch to take a quick peek at the outside world and come right back in. This little guy has been my buddy for the last 10 years... He's neutered and declawed in front, I have all of his paperwork since I rescued him as a kitten back in 2015. Michelangelo (aka Mikey) (date of birth 6/13/22) is truly the sweetest little boy you will ever meet.  He has the best manners around other cats, gentle cat friendly dogs, and even guinea pigs.  He is very people friendly and loves attention.  He will need a family who will not mind having a velcro cat, because Mikey will definitely wants to be your shadow.  an ideal home will be someone who is often at home to show him love, and w ho will let him sleep in bed, he will get very vocal about not being cuddled at night.  He seems to be ok with his human having to leave for work, but as soon as he knows you are home, he will demand your attention.  Please give Mikey a home of his own for the holidays.  It will be the greatest gift you can ever give yourself.
