Story
Calliope is a stunning 10-month-old male long-haired kitty with a beautiful Van pattern. He has faced many challenges in his young life, including witnessing a tragic event among his siblings resulting in his being trapped almost two months later than some of them and in a new location. After being spotted with another group of kittens, likely his nieces and nephews, Calliope stayed fearful while they quickly socialized and found loving homes. As the other kittens were adopted, Calliope grew lonely and slowly started to see humans in a more positive light. At first, he would hiss when his foster mom entered the room, but with patience, playtime, and tasty treats, he began to warm up. Due to his fearful nature, we suspect Calliope has experienced or witnessed abuse from humans in his short life. He requires a patient and quiet home, free from loud noises and young children. Calliope adores his cat tree, loves watching the world from the window, and enjoys the company of other cats once he gets to know them. His fluffy coat is incredibly soft, and he has a charming checkerboard pattern on his head, an incredibly expressive floofy black tail, and a striking black spot on his side. Are you the kind-hearted person ready to give Calliope the loving, patient home he deserves? If so, please reach out to us at adoptions@savedbyzade.com!

Story
Oh, what a complete sweetheart! She is a little shy and is afraid at first in new situations, but really only took 2 days to settle into her foster home. She takes comfort and feels secure on a lap, and loves to hang out on a lap when not in full play mode, which is often. And she purrs like crazy! She settles right down and puts her paws on your arm; gazes lovingly at you with her big eyes… it’s just adorable. She likes to be picked up and held and cuddled, again when not in full kitten play mode, and likes to have her paws and toe beans rubbed. Of course, this is when she's in the mood and has been given some extra time to get to know and trust you. She really likes to be up on a cat tree perch and look out the window. She has a lot of kitten energy, can be a bit feisty when playful, and loves to run around and play with toys and her brothers; she really loves a small bouncy ball and loves to leap high for a wand toy. Just a complete joy to have around! She also likes to be brushed for a bit until that brush must be conquered! So fun! Email: adoptions@savedbyzade.com

Story
💛 Meet Olive, aka Olive You 💛 Where do we even start with Olive? She was found outside, in very bad shape, until a kindhearted community member stepped in and made sure she got the care she needed. Olive had been through a lot — she needed to be spayed, treated with antibiotics, and it was discovered that she had a badly broken hip. Her rear hock had healed frozen in place, but here’s the amazing part: it doesn’t slow her down at all. Not one bit. She races around with a playful heart, showing everyone her unstoppable spirit. That’s not all. Olive also had a mouth full of broken and infected teeth, which required a full dental with extractions while in our care. And now? She’s pain-free, safe, and finally able to live the life she deserves. Olive loves to make biscuits and purr right on her person’s lap. She LOVES her ball track toy and will happily chase and bat for hours. She also adores being brushed — those soft strokes are one of her favorite treats. She can be a little cautious when people approach, which makes sense given all she’s been through. We don’t know exactly what caused her injuries, but one thing is certain: no one will ever hurt Olive again. She is playful. She is loving. She is brave. And she is ready for the first forever home where she can feel truly safe and cherished. Do you have space in your heart (and home) for Olive? Email adoptions@savedbyzade.com to meet this incredible girl 💛
