You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Stormy — the tiny cloud puff with a heart full of sunshine! Stormy may have started life outdoors, but she has decided that being an indoor kitten is the life for her. She’s still a little shy at first, but give her a moment (and a gentle pet), and she turns into the sweetest little lovebug. Stormy absolutely adores her person. She’ll follow you from room to room like your fluffy shadow, checking in, supervising, and making sure you don’t wander off without her. If you do leave? She’ll let out the cutest little cry to remind you that she prefers life together. This girl is a cuddle queen—she melts under pets, happily flops onto her back for belly rubs, and snuggles like it’s her full-time job. Her coloring is stunning, her mews are adorable, and her sweetness is impossible not to fall for. Stormy is fully using the litter box and settling beautifully into home life. She’s ready to bring her gentle affection, gorgeous looks, and loyal little-heart energy into a home that will cherish her. If you’re looking for a kitten who loves deeply and snuggles hard, Stormy is your girl! Stormy is from a stray surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats’ emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of “Single Kitten Syndrome” (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten’s most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
