Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jared DOB:   February 2026 (est) Neutered Male              Medium Hair                 Grey Tuxedo Hey there, I’m Jared! And I’m not just another handsome face: I am a fuzzy, purring love machine! If you are in need of non-stop entertainment and cuddles, today is your lucky day! Want to get to know me more before we make a commitment? Okay, let’s go! As you can see, I am immaculately dressed in a gray tuxedo, suitable for any and every occasion. I look well put together, but not overly formal like a black/white tuxie. And I’m not afraid to get my nice tux a little messy. I love to run around and play with ALL the toys and wrestle with my foster siblings. Ideally, I’d love to go to a forever home with an energetic resident cat who needs a buddy for chasies, roughhousing, and general mischief-making! And once I’m worn out from playing, I’ll want some quality snuggle time. I’m not picky about who I cuddle with, either: cats, dogs, people...I’ll happily get rest my fur on anyone and everyone! Since I’m high-energy, it would probably be best if kids in the house are at least six years old and understand how to handle active kitties. So...do I sound like your ideal guy? Well, let’s get to know each other. Contact Best Friend Pet Adoption and tell them you want to adopt JARED! Dogs:  Must have kitty manners Other cats:  Good with others, needs a playmate Kids:  Over 6 with kitty experience  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 12, 2026, 12:23 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Diesel DOB:  September 2025 (est) Neutered Male              Medium Hair                Grey Tabby w/white Okay, before we get started, I’m going to give you a moment to behold my magnificent ear fluff. Have you recovered? Okay, good. So, I’m Diesel, and I’m looking for a family who loves fun (and ear floof, of course)! I’m a young guy who likes to keep busy, so a box full of toys would be awesome, but I would also love to have another kitty friend to play with. I’d also get along great with a dog, if you happen to have a cat-friendly pup! I’m also pretty cool with kids (age 6 and older) and would love to entertain a little friend for hours! So, if you are looking for a fun fluffball, let’s get to know each other. Contact Best Friend Pet Adoption and let them know you want to adopt Diesel! Story
Macavity has been part of our household since spring of 2013 or so, when he was a few weeks old and a friend found him and a sibling abandoned in her back yard. He's a delightful, affectionate cat once he gets to know you; before he gets to know you, he's extremely shy. He's moving slower than he once did but is healthy and will be up to date on shots before he leaves. But Macavity has always been my wife's cat, as you can see from one of the photos. My wife died a year ago, and it's just too hard for me to have him around. He needs and deserves a home where he'll be doted on, and I can't give him that any longer. He's been good with the two dogs he's shared the house with. He hasn't had a lot of experience with children or other cats. He does not have front claws and he's never tried to bite anyone. I don't think I've ever heard him hiss, even when the dogs were puppies and thought his tail was the best toy in the house. He loves peanut butter.
