Story
Missy is a 6-month-old medium hair tuxedo kitten who is the life of the party! She loves to play, cuddle, and explore. She is also very loving and affectionate, and she will greet you at the door with a loud purr when you enter the room. When she's really happy with her back scratches, she sends her booty to the sky and shakes her fluffy tail while gazing at you lovingly. Missy's favorite thing to do is carry her favorite mouse toy around with her and chase it all over the house. She is also very curious and loves to explore every nook and cranny of her surroundings - she's a master climber! Missy is incredibly playful and loves to wrestle with her brother, George. But don't worry - she's always up for a cuddle session and will hop on your lap for dedicated brushing sessions. She's also very good at maintaining her mane, so she doesn't require a lot of grooming, but she does appreciate brushing for bonding purposes. Missy is the perfect addition to any family looking for a sweet, playful, and low-maintenance kitty. She would love to be adopted with her brother, Curious George. Ready to meet your new best friend? Story
Do you want to be admired but not have people be all handsy/huggy with you? Me too!!! I am a gorgeous boy who has had a bit of a rough life and that has led me to be suspicious of some people (especially men). I have tried meditating but found that setting boundaries (3 pets on the head and not 4; snuggles only when authorized) is the best way to go. My person who gave me all the love in all the right doses passed away and now I am looking for that purrfect person who understands that I just like company and to be near you and like to be the one making the first move for attention. I am gorgeous, fluffy, entertaining and low energy. I am an easy boy to have around. I do have allergies to dust and such and as such may sneeze some artsy designs upon occasion but it doesn't slow me down and I don't mind if you don't. I was overlooked by people before my last mom because I am FIV+. What does that mean? Not a lot. It is mostly a label. People say that if I get sick I should go to the vet but that is pretty much what you would do with any cat. So if you care about what it means then you can find out more at https://fivcats.com/. I live with other cats and do fine. I just like a nice window, soft bed and person to snuggle next to. And I love my picture taken. If my handsome face makes you smile, then consider letting me make you smile every day and make me part of your family.  If you are interested in adopting Humphrey, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60-75 miles of the Raligh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Story
This handsome fluffy boy is Chicken Little and he is a SPECIAL NEEDS kitty and not just because he thinks the sky is falling at times but for his fear/anxiety around too much movement/excitement.. He is shy of certain actions - he loves to be petted but not when you walk at him. He will come to you for attention if you are sitting down and if you have treats - double bonus. He loves other cats and knows no personal space boundaries. If they think you are ok, then he thinks you are ok. He is fearless of dogs so he should only be around totally safe/tolerant/gentle and chill dogs as he will rub all over them. Loud places, much movement or many people put him in fear mode. Quiet tv/computer time he loves and will grace you with huge purrs, biscuits and the ability to pet the softest fur of all time. He needs a patient person who is willing to work with his cues/comfort level to help him blossom and who will appreciate him for the amazing quirky boy he is now and see the work of art he is yet to become.  If you are interested in adopting Chicken Little, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption.
