Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Mary is a beautiful long-haired girl who. would love to be adopted with Pawla. My name is Mary and I am a very affectionate young lady.  A kind man and woman saved me from the cold in the winter and now I am ready for my forever home.  I just love being with people, and having all the attention!  I am very laid back.  I am FIV positive and would do best in a home with another FIV positive cat or I can be your one and only.  Please read about FIV below.  There is nothing to be afraid of -- I am not contagious and I can live a long happy, healthy life.   If you want to make my dreams come true, please contact my foster mom at nearinc2004@yahoo.com if you are ready to meet me.  What is FIV?  Feline Immunodeficiency Virus(FIV) is a virus that attacks the immune system of cats.  There is no treatment or cure.  FIV is a cat-only disease and cannot be transmitted to people or dogs.  FIV+ cats should be kept indoors to prevent exposure to illness, sterilized and fed a balanced diet.  They should be seen by a veterinarian at least once a year to ensure their ongoing good health. Transmission:  FIV is passed from cat to cat mainly through deep bite wounds, the kind that occur during fights and territorial disputes involving feral and unsterilized males.  Casual, social behavior such as sharing a water/food bowl and mutual grooming will NOT spread FIV.  There is no evidence that cats in the household with an FIV+ cat will acquire FIV from the FIV+ cat. Lifespan:  Multiple medical studies show that cats who are FIV+ live just as long as FIV-negative cats.  FIV itself does not cause severe clinical signs, and FIV+ cats can live many years without any health problems.    For additional information contact your veterinarian.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 21, 2025, 10:41 pm

Story
Beautiful orange male. Hasn’t been introduced to much. Lives in a very quiet environment. Has been around kids but due to him being scared when he comes out I have not allowed the kids to mingle. In a home with an elder but doesn’t need to be in a home where the owner is on blood thinners. Only reason to rehome is the current owner is sick and isn’t able to take care of him. Love his toys. Will bathe them. Loves to play ball.

Story
Captain Henrietta Morgan was abandoned as a kitten. But she is growing into a brave adventurer! She was the first kitten we rescued from under our shed this summer after returning ashore. And she has taught every cat since how to love and be loved. Morgan loves lounging in a hammock while you work or watch a movie. And if you are reading a book, guess who will be there with you! The only thing she loves more than food is her sister Jackie, who she is always grooming, snuggling, and playing with. They are a bonded pair so you get double the sweetness for the same amount of work. We would love to keep her (and her sister Jackie), but our work on the water 6 months of the year would impossible for her.

Story
Gemma is a five year old cat with lots of love to give, but she unfortunately has a lot of anxiety that leads to behavioral issues. She is great with adults that she has gotten to know, but it does take her a long time to become familiar with others. She becomes stressed out with other cats and children, and that stress usually leads to fights and swiping. Gemma needs a home with no children and no other cats (she is good with dogs!), and someone who is very patient and experienced with cats. She really is such a loving cat once she knows someone, but she needs a lot of time to get there. We love her so much, but our home has become a very stressful environment for her due to other cats and a newly mobile baby. Despite our efforts to separate her, we are unable to provide a stress free home for her while also keeping our baby safe because we recently had to move into a smaller place. We would really like her to find a home where she can be comfortable and relaxed all the time.

Story
We found Calico Jackie abandoned as a baby kitten this summer. She is shy, but playful and affectionate. When she shows you her speckled belly, you know it is the beginning of a loving friendship. Her meow sounds like a creaky door that can only be oiled with food in her belly. She loves playing with toys, sleeping in a comfy cat bed, and snuggling while listening to peaceful music. But the thing she loves the most is her sister Morgan. They are always together, entertaining each other and tempting you to take pictures of their adorable cuddle sessions. They are a bonded pair, so you get double the cuteness with half the work!
