Fall in love with me — my name is Parmesan. And really… who doesn’t love Parmesan? I’m a truly gorgeous girl, make no mistake about it. I have a long, silky white coat that feels like a cloud, and eyes you won’t forget — one blue, one green. Add in my sweet, loving nature, and honestly… how could you not want that? I don’t know much about my early history, but I do know this: I was rescued with Reggiano, and we must go to a home together. No exceptions. He may drive me a little crazy sometimes (especially when he tries to steal my food), but we love each other deeply. We’ve been through too much to be apart. When you first meet me, I can be shy. I might hiss — not because I’m mean, but because I’m scared. Give me a little patience, and you’ll see my true personality shine. I’ll roll around happily, go wild for catnip, and soak up brushing and gentle pets like they’re the best thing in the world. Meet Reggiano — Extra Handsome, Extra Friendly, Extra Love My name is Reggiano, and yes… I’m every bit as delightful as I sound. I was found dumped in a cage outside of a store early one morning — not the start any cat deserves. But thanks to kind humans, my story didn’t end there. It became a brand-new beginning. Today, I’m a happy, confident, and incredibly friendly boy who truly loves people. I’m quite the conversationalist, especially when it comes to reminding you that it might be time for more wet food (very important business — I take it seriously). I adore being petted and always return the love with head bumps, loud purrs, and nonstop affection. Humans are my favorite, and I thrive on attention and companionship. About other cats:I don’t particularly enjoy being around other cats — with one very important exception. Parmesan and I were left together in that cage, and she’s the only feline friend I truly know and trust. Because of that bond, I make it clear when other cats are around that I’m not interested in making new kitty friendships. What that means:I need to go home with Parmesan. She’s my comfort, my constant, and my safe place. Together, we make the perfect pair and will do best in a home where we can stay together as a bonded duo. I’m still unsure about dogs, but with slow and proper introductions, anything is possible. What I want most is a loving home where I’ll be cherished, spoiled, and adored — ideally with a few extra treats (just saying). Grey’s Angel Girl was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue last November, rescued from a farm of many, many sick cats.  This 3 year old was one of the lucky ones.  Not terribly sick; nothing that a few different medications quickly cured.  Now inside, in the kitty room, Grey definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first few months.  She was difficult to even touch the first several weeks.  A lot of hissing and fussing, I knew she was just scared.  Slowly but surely, Grey came to realize she was in a safe spot.  All this lady needed was a little love and reassurance every day, that it was all okay.  “This soft bed is for me?  This cozy cubby is mine?”  It has been rewarding to watch her improve day after day.  Grey is about 90% there, and with a little extra TLC, she will reach 100% in no time. There is a sweetheart in there.  Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog?  Or under-cat, in this case?  She so wants her forever home!  To pass the time, Grey Girl plays well on her own and alone.  She likes to bat the ball on the triple tiered ball toy.  Or the feathered toy on the end of the wand.  Grey Girl enjoys playing with the one year old female in the kitty room.  They play tag up and down the cat tower.  It is short-lived, but at least she has learned to play with others.  She is friendly with the other cats in the kitty room, but I think Grey would blossom more if she is the only cat getting all the attention!  She has never known that, being “the only cat”.  Grey can barely contain herself when mom pulls out the rubber brush!  No matter where she is in the kitty room, she is next to me immediately.  She is soon a large lump of love.  You can brush her for hours, it seems.  It is great watching her roll over and relax.  Grey has mastered the art of napping.  Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat?  Head scratches?  Grey cannot get enough of them.  And back scratches, too?  Show me more!  Can you embrace this lovely, diluted grey and tan tortie with those big green, beautiful eyes?  It is time for her to get selected.  It is time for her to find her forever home.  Are you here to save the day?  To save Grey?  Please email CCR at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you want to be her 'Saving Greyce'.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. Lillypad, Pollywog, and Minnow were found late one afternoon. Minnow was floating on a lilly pad on the edge of the Koi pond crying for help. His sister Lillypad ( Lilly for short) was on the edge of the pond soaking wet and Pollywog ran for the bushes as soon as we spotted them. If not for Minnows anguished cries, we are sure they would have suffered the same fate of drowning as their two siblings did.  Now thanks to a community effort by Critter Cavalry Rescue and these caring rescue ladies who are fostering them, there are3 little survivors who are  little miracles.  This little girl is called Pollywog ( Woggles for short lol) and you should see her dance with a feather. Skipping and hopping, pouncing and wriggling with wild abandon. She definitely is the clown of the litter and will be the joy of your heart.
