Story
This handsome boy is Cedric. He was found wondering as a stray. He is a sweet boy who likes cuddles and lovings. He’s a mellow guy that enjoys napping all day. His favorite time of day is meal time and if he feels you’re late he will remind you. He will need a home without dogs and either no children or older children. He also would prefer to be an only cat. Cedric is fully vetted and ready for adoption! Story
Mitzi: A Timid Kitten's Journey of Self-Discovery and Trust In the quiet corners of a cozy home, a timid little kitten named Mitzi will find solace amidst the gentle whispers of her human. With fur as soft as moonlight and eyes as wide as the stars, Mitzi will at first tread cautiously through the unfamiliar terrain of her new surroundings. Born into a world where uncertainty loomed like shadows in the corner, Mitzi's timid heart beats softly, hesitant to embrace the unknown. But within the gentle arms of her caring human companions, she will find warmth and reassurance, slowly coaxing her fragile spirit to emerge from the shadows. At first, Mitzi will watch from a safe distance. Day by day, she will venture a little further from her sanctuary, tentatively exploring the world around her with cautious steps and wide-eyed wonder. As Mitzi's confidence blossoms like a delicate flower unfurling its petals, so too will her playful spirit awaken from its slumber. With each day that passes, she will grow stronger, braver, and more playful, a testament to the transformative power of love, patience, and the indomitable spirit of a little kitten named Mitzi. Story
A series of sad and unfortunate events caused Shelby to need the help of LCPA. The five-year-old tortoiseshell had a good home with an elderly couple. Sadly, they passed away. Afterward, their small dog was taken away by relatives, but Shelby? She was left behind at the condo complex. However, Shelby was the recipient of a blessing in the form of someone who rescued and fostered her for LCPA. Let's get into some 'Shelby fun facts!' This golden torbie (has lots of gold color in her coat), has a Texas-sized personality and enjoys chatting with cat-friendly humans! Does she chat with a Texas southern drawl? That's for you to decide! She likes to be petted, and here comes a big fun fact.... she loves belly rubs! She totally enjoys watching birds and squirrels from a windowsill, and there are plenty of both to see since the weather is warm again! Shelby may even chat with you about how many she saw! She has been seen getting along with nice male cats and lived with a small cat-friendly dog. Let's keep Shelby's story heading in the right direction. Let's get her a home! Interested? Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Muffin is soft and fluffy, a sweet young female cat who LOVES petting, rubbing up against your hand or foot, and is eager for attention. Her favorite sound is the opening of a pop-top cat food can. Her favorite flavors are chicken and turkey with gravy - and people-chicken or tuna. She comes running to dinner and purrs. She is very comfortable in a home environment, and with people. She became a stray, but was able to be picked up to be rehomed. She was already spayed, and ear-tipped. She is FIV positive and very healthy, received all 3 vaccinations, a microchip, and a nail trim for grooming. She has definitely been a housepet and rides quietly in a carrier in a car. She didn't like too much poking and prodding at the vet, so for now, she would be best with adults, rather than enthusiastic young kids. She was found with other cats and interacted well, but in a new environment, she may give a low growl (even while purring) around new cats to identify her food or her territory, without aggression. So readjustment to homelife may be best as a primary indoor cat with people who can give her the love and stroking that she misses and craves, in a forever home.
