Turkish Van kittens & cats in Frederick, Maryland

We rescued this sweet boy from the street at just a month old, and he’s now a wonderful five-year-old. He’s an incredibly loving companion who thrives on attention. Because he dislikes being alone for long and can be a bit needy, his ideal home is with younger adopters in a calm, single-pet household (no other cats or dogs). He loves getting pets and happily spends his days lounging. For playtime, he goes crazy for cat dancers, lasers, and swimming in catnip! He’s also smart and will even give you a high-five for a treat. He does have a few boundaries, though: please don't touch his toes or underbelly. Due to a scary outdoor experience as a kitten, he’s fearful of leaving the house, but will explore right near home if you’re by his side. Crowds and loud noises make him nervous and cause him to hide, so a quiet, peaceful sanctuary is where this affectionate boy will truly shine.

She was a stray, her beginnings a question. She was scared and not very trusting at first, but she's learned to love her foster mom. She's a big ankle rubber, loves to help with chores around the house. She's a peaceful kitty, used to living with dogs and cats. She has a mellow personality and calm self confident. The adoption fee is $150, to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
