Story
LUCILLE Female EST AGE 3 Spayed, vaccinated including rabies, dewormed, debugged, microchipped •fostered in Cambridge Meet LUCILLE Lucille came to us as a devoted outdoor mama, doing everything she could to protect her two kittens, Louie and Libby. Like so many of our moms, she needed time, space, and patience to feel safe, and we gave her just that! Fast forward to now, and Lucille has made an incredible transformation. This once guarded girl has blossomed into a playful, happy cat who’s rediscovered her inner kitten. She loves to run, play, and get the zoomies, and in the evenings you’ll often find her joining her foster family on the couch, especially if the Toronto Blue Jays are on TV Lucille is currently fostered with several other cats and does best with calm, passive companions. Strong personalities can overwhelm her, and she may get bullied, so a quieter feline friend would be ideal. Her babies, Louie and Libby, are still waiting for their forever home two years later, but Lucille is more than ready for her own happy ending too. She’s finally let her guard down and is ready to be loved! Apply online: axelsimprintrescue.org

Story
Trudy is the sweetest! A gorgeous little girl with creamy white fur, orange markings on her face and tail and pale blue eyes. Trudy came to us from an overcrowded home in northern Ontario. She loves to play but is gentler and a quieter player than other kittens of similar age. Trudy is very affectionate, loves to be petted and will be on your lap as soon as you sit down. She is not very vocal and her meow is more squeaky than loud. Trudy came with friends who have since been adopted, and is now living with new kitty friends. She gets along with everyone and is happy to hang with calm older cats as she is not a busy girl. Trudy needs other calm cat(s) and likes the resident senior dog. Trudy has a significant heart murmur (grade4) – which meant that she needed a specific protocol for her spay surgery, but she came through very well. She does not currently need medication or special care. What does that mean for her future? We really don’t know. She may live a normal lifespan – or it may be reduced because of her heart If she ever needs to go under anesthetic then her vet will need to know about her condition Trudy has so much love to share. She is a very affectionate kitten who loves to be petted, cuddled and she is social and playful. Trudy needs a quiet home with another calm and gentle cat

Story
Louie is an incredibly loving and social cat. It's paramount that he be adopted with at least one other cat as he gets very sad without a pal. He can be very vocal when he's unhappy. Louie loves to play, and will roll over and let you give him belly rubs and playfully bite at your hand. He is fine with the dog in his foster home, very inquisitive, but will follow the dog's lead in terms of friendliness. Louie loves to sleep in bed at his foster's feet and is good at not bothering them throughout the night. He's a fan of climbing and will get up on tables, kitchen surfaces, and mantelpiece. Louie has a tendency to chew on plastic things - ie: shower curtain etc. but doesn't seem to actually consume them. He loves to give headbutts and to be petted. Louie definitely needs at least one other cat in the home. He would be good with children and dogs as long as they are respectful. Louie needs to be adopted with a cat in the program or have another cat at home
