Story
Jewel is a beautiful gal who came into our care with her sister Molly after their owner was hospitalized. She's takes a while to trust, but once she does, enjoys chin scratches and belly rubs. She loves wand toys, but doesn't like to share. As a typical calico, she can be spicy and doesn't like to be picked up and carried. She would do best in a home with no other pets and older children who understand boundaries. She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, up to date on her vaccines and has been spayed. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING! An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet. Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward. You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200. It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along. We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations. Please help us get the kitties to their forever homes faster by respecting these guidelines!

Meet Jake! Jake is a kitten in adult cat form, he has lots of energy and love to give! He would do best in a cat savvy home without young children, where he gets lots of playtime and interaction with his hoomans. He would love a family to help him be active and shed some weight, so that he can feel his best! If you have lots of puzzle and interactive toys to help this sweet boy, submit your application, he can't wait to meet you.***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. They will be experiencing a new environment and meeting new people, which means they may not exhibit the same behaviours they did in their foster videos or while in foster care.If you are viewing this animal through 24Petconnect by PetPlace or Adopt-a-pet, please visit our website https://kwsphumane.ca/adopt/process to submit an application. Story
Hi my name is Prince! I am a sweet and loving you man that can't wait to warm your heart and you lap. I love to snuggle right up on you and will refuse to get off, unless there is food available. I am told I play a little rough, so I would love a cat savvy home with no young children, and definitely no other cats please!A note from his foster family: Prince is such a sweet boy. He absolutely loves to cuddle & will spend all day on my husband's lap while he works from home. He loves attention and is fine with being picked up and having his belly rubbed. He is so playful and loves the cat springs. He plays well with my other two cats and is cautious but calm around my large dog. One funny thing he loves to do is drink the tap water, he will sit in the bathroom waiting for you to turn it on for him!***NOTE*** Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets. Story
Hi my name is Lobo! I am a sweet boy that is looking to find my fur-ever home. I can be a bit shy when first meeting people but that seems to quickly go away when I receive some much needed chin scratches. I would make the perfect guard cat and stay in your windows making sure those pesky little birds don't come into our home. If I sound like the pur-fect boy for you, please submit and application so I can meet my forever people. Please note, I'm not a big fan of sharing my attention so I would prefer a home with no other kittys.**Please remember that animals are coming back from foster care to the centres for their meet and greets.
