Turkish Van kittens & cats in Roy, Utah

Hi there… my name is Baked Potato. I know it’s a funny name, but honestly it fits me pretty well. I’m soft, warm, comforting, and once you get to know me, I’m the kind of little soul that just makes you feel better. I’m about 9 years old, a handsome Turkish Van mix, and I’ve been through a bit of a rough patch in life before finding my way to safety. When I first arrived at the DCAS, I wasn’t feeling very good at all. They helped me get through being pretty sick but I needed more medical help than they could give me there, so the kind people at Whiskers brought me into their program. Since then, I’ve had a full mouth extraction to get rid of my painful teeth, a polyp removed from my ear, cytology and senior bloodwork. I have a little scar on my eye from an old injury. It might make me look a little different, but I promise it doesn’t stop me from loving life now that I finally feel better. The truth is, I’m just really grateful to be safe. I love gentle pets, soft places to rest, and people who talk to me sweetly. I’ve discovered that being loved is actually pretty wonderful, and I’m hoping my human is out there waiting to spoil me the way every good comfort food deserves. If you’re looking for a cozy little companion who will bring warmth, sweetness, and a lot of heart into your life… I think we might be perfect for each other. 🖤🤍🐾

Cali was originally my mom's cat. My mom went to nursing home hoping to transition to an assisted living home and potentially get Cali back. Unfortunately my mom will not be going to an assisted living home for the time being. I Unfortunately can't keep Cali because she doesn't get along with my cat. They both are only child cats and don't get along with each other. My cat is pregnant at this time so get patience is even less than before. Cali is very loving and prefers to be an only cat she's okay with the dogs. She's very clingy and loves to sleep on my chest. She will be best with someone that can give her a lot of undivided attention. She likes to know that you will be back if b your going to leave the house.

Josie is the most loving, sweet, and passionate cat! She's about 6 y/o. She loves love, to the point where she'll reach out and tap you if you go past her without pets. She'll wrap her arms around you and give you hugs, purring nonstop! Josie has the most expressive, squeaky meow you'll ever hear! If she gets curious, she'll tip her head upside-down to get a better look! She doesn't scratch or bite. Josie has asthma. Most of the time, she is just fine. If she starts to struggle, she will start to breathe heavier and through her mouth. She needs treatment once a week which can be done at home. Her treatment has to be bought every few months for about $25. She is very good about it. We put her in a kennel where we blow the breath-in treatment into the air, and she breathes it in. It's very easy to use. Josie has only had issues with her asthma acting up 2 different times. We adore Josie and are very sad to be finding her a new home due to us moving to a place with a no-pet policy.
