You may have heard of horses being described as “pinto” in reference to their two-toned coloring in irregular patches, but have you ever heard of a “pinto” dog? We hadn`t either, until we met the aptly named Pinto here at PACC! Pinto’s coat is a beautiful black and white patchwork, which is just as cute and spunky as his personality! Pinto lived in a home for about six months- his former people said that he is good with small dogs and is house trained. They described him as an affectionate boy who likes car rides, loves toys, is playful and knows tricks, and is a certified Velcro dog!Pinto’s volunteer friends love taking him out to play- here’s what some of them have said:“Pinto is a perfect, playful puppy! He was so excited to see us this morning and is eager to get over to a play yard! Once in the yard he bounced all around the yard with his kennelmate? and then stood by my side?, soliciting affection from me and was overall ?a spotted BUNDLE OF JOY!”“Pinto was a happy boy this week and he was excited to leave the kennel. He was easy to leash and not reactive to the other dogs we passed. He had a lot of fun running around the yard with his kennelmate. He’s really sweet.”Pinto shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social, playful and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. If you’re looking for a wonderful companion somewhere between the size of a pinto horse and a pinto bean, Pinto the pup might be just the right fit for you! Come and meet him today!
