You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. **If you are interested in being considered for this dog, please be sure to complete an application directly on our website - not through a 3rd party service.**   Meet Bubba, a 4–6-month-old, 45 lb pitbull with possible Vizsla mix with a giant heart and an even bigger personality! This big, goofy puppy is all about love, playtime, and figuring out life one silly step at a time. Bubba may not quite realize his size yet, but he definitely knows how to make people smile. He’s currently working on house training and making great progress, and he sleeps soundly through the night in his crate after a few minutes of protest. Bubba is very responsive to the little bit of training he’s had so far, and he’ll thrive with an adopter who’s excited to continue guiding him as he grows. Bubba was found wandering the streets with a female dog who is suspected to be his sister, though he hasn’t yet been tested with other dogs, kids, or cats in his foster home. With proper introductions, he may do wonderfully—he just hasn’t had those opportunities yet.  Bubba does not require a fenced in yard, but will require an adopter who will make sure he gets ample exercise and enrichment.   If you’re looking for a lovable, eager-to-learn puppy who will reward you with endless affection (and probably some hilarious oversized puppy antics), Bubba might be your perfect match! Donatello's favorite color is Purple, favorite food is Pizza and the Gentlest Dog. Donatello was a shelter favorite in Lufkin (Eastern Texas) and thanks to many volunteers found his way to us in Rescue. He was neutered, vaccinated and required Heartworm treatment before getting ready for Adoption. Donatello is fostered with dogs of all sizes and personalities, he is a passive dog and avoids all conflicts. He could be an only dog or in a pack. He is crate trained but shows his breed - by spinning and circling his crate before laying down. He is not destructive, Quiet and Observant. Guessed to be 2-3 years old. He is 68 lbs and lean, long tail with a short double coat. Labeled a Doberman at the shelter, we see more Vizsla or hunting breed in him. He is a mixed breed dog in a deep red color. Rescue does not complete DNA testing. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes transport options to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Email to Apply! Amy had a rough start in life—she was born on November 30, 2024, on the streets of San Antonio, alongside her eight siblings. Her feral mother had been surviving on her own for quite some time, raising multiple litters on the streets. Thankfully, with the help of Amy and her siblings, we were able to gain her mother’s trust and bring them all to safety. Now, Amy is thriving! She is a playful, sweet, and loving puppy who adores people. She may be a little shy at first, but give her a few minutes, and she’ll be bouncing around, ready to play! As of February 26, 2025, she weighs 11.6 pounds, but she’s expected to grow to around 45 pounds. Amy is ready to find her forever home!
