He has a stunning milk chocolate colored coat and a lean, sportive physique. He is great with other dogs, walks well on the leash and does well in the crate. He does well with cats in general but can chase if they are skittish so only cats who are well adjusted and used to being around dogs. He is a great boy who faced euthanasia along with his brother simply for being out of time. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Meet Lilly! Lilly is a 3 year old Vizsla mix looking for a 2nd chance at a forever home. Lilly was surrendered to us due to behaviors that showed up from lack of structure and boundaries in her house as she grew up. Lilly is an athletic dog that needs a physical and mental outlet to help curb that bored behavior. She grew up with an owner that didn't follow through on training advice and giving structure to a dog that very much thrived in a structured environment. Lilly needs time to trust people and can get nervous and protective. She is currently living in a long term home boarding environment and is thriving there but she deserves a life and attention of her own. Lilly is very dog friendly and would be great with another playful dog in the house, almost to the point where this may be a requirement for adoption! We are looking for an active couple or family that will bring her on lots of hikes and active adventures, possibly a family that wants a dog to do agility and sports with, and a family that will give time to training so that Lilly can show her true potential. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 11/26/25 Sandy This good little girl was found as a stray, alone and starving. Thankfully, a good Samaritan took action and she is now safe, fully vetted, and ready for a home! Sandy is about 6 months old and weighs about 30 lbs. We believe she is a Vizsla mix and will probably be around 50-60 lbs once fully mature. She walks very well on leash, and is working on house training. She is medium energy level and gets along great with other dogs and would do very well with kids. She has a gentle, sweet spirit. Sandy is located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. Meet Sarge, a medium-sized pointer mix who made the long trip from Alabama in search of a fresh start and a family of his own. He’s playful, silly, and wonderfully smart—the kind of dog who keeps you laughing and on your toes. Sarge loves chasing toys and then proudly parading them around the yard for everyone to admire. Once he’s had his fill of fun and exercise, he turns into a total cuddle bug who’s happiest snuggled up with his people. He’s an active guy who will thrive with regular physical and mental activity. Because he was found as a stray, we don’t have much history on his past, but his southern shelter noted that he did well with other dogs. If you have a resident dog, Sarge would love to meet them here first to be sure it’s a good fit. We do not know how he’ll do with cats or kids. He appears to be house trained. Sarge has some ongoing medical and behavior issues that staff can talk to you about. If you're looking for a bright, fun-loving companion who will reward you with endless affection, Sarge may be your perfect match! Ready to Adopt?
