Story
Welcome Gigi to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Gigi is a 3-month-old sweetie. She is a Lab/Pointer is our best guess. She has adorable long floppy ears and webbed feet. She is one of the ones that looks most like the momma dog in this litter. She has a longer tail than siblings but still about 4 inches long. She is one of the bigger girls in this litter. That will be nice when she is big as her tail will not be as likely to knock things off the coffee table. Her feet are big so she should be about a 60 lb dog is our best guess. She has gorgeous grey coat and blue eyes. She is stunningly beautiful and she has webbed feet. She should be a good swimmer with her webbed feet. She is a heavy pup because she has some large bone structure and nice muscles. They are well cared for in their foster home. She is good with other dogs, soft and cuddly when you pick her up and crate trained. She does good on car rides and has been held a lot as a puppy so she is social and adorable. These puppies are not as active as some breeds and we would say moderately active puppies. The momma dog is very gentle and sweet too. If they are like her, they will be wonderful dogs. Gigi is inquisitive and good in her play group. They are not too vocal or big shedders. She is in a family with teenage children and is getting on a good routine. She currently weighs about 15 pounds but they are eating and growing fast. She would be great in a family and would be fine around children. We like them to be 8 or older. There are 10 puppies in this litter. They were all found as strays and a good Samaritan is keeping them while we vet them and find new forever homes. Gigi has gotten her first puppy vaccine, nail trim and will get 2 more before she leaves the Rescue. She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Welcome Izzy to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Izzy is a 3-month-old sweetie. She is a Lab/Pointer but I think looks Boxer as well is our best guess. She is not energetic like a Boxer and is big and cuddly. She has adorable long floppy ears and webbed feet. She has a longer tail than siblings but still about 4 inches long. That will be nice when she is big as her tail will not be as likely to knock things off the coffee table. Her feet are big so he should be about a 55 lb dog is our best guess. She has gorgeous grey coat and blue eyes. She is stunningly beautiful and she has webbed feet. She should be a good swimmer with her webbed feet. She is a heavy pup because she has some large bone structure and nice muscles. They are well cared for in their foster home. She is the smallest in the litter. That usually means they are more submissive. She is good with other dogs, soft and cuddly when you pick her up and crate trained. She does good on car rides and has been held a lot as a puppy so she is social and adorable. These puppies are not as active as some breeds and we would say moderately active puppies. Story
Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Story
There is no place like home for the holidays, says Guppy the puppy, who wants a home for the holidays and forever after. She is a 9-month-old Pointer/mixed breed sweetheart heading to Connecticut to bring good cheer to her forever home and family. At 35 pounds, Guppy has a bit of growing left and it is estimated she will be medium-sized (25-50 pounds). She is a shy girl with a pretty cream-colored coat and a cute brown eye patch over one eye. Guppy is content to spend time with dogs and children and also gets along with cats.Guppy has almost completed her house training, walks well on a leash and is quiet in her crate. Guppy is still a puppy and needs time to reestablish a bathroom routine after meals, exercise, and naps in her new home to complete her housetraining. Guppy needs a crate big enough to stand in, turn around in and lie down comfortably as she grows. Crates should be cozy, happy places for dogs to hang out. Guppy needs time to explore her crate and go in and out as she wishes. Her origin story is a bit of a mystery, but it is no mystery that this sweet, lovely girl just wants someone to love her. If you are that someone, Guppy is waiting for her happily ever after with you.The adoption fee for Guppy is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.December 5, 2023, 7:13 am
