Story
Playful and Silly- gets zoomies-SUPER snuggly- loves lounging with a nylabone- good on walks- LOVES LOVES LOVES CAR RIDES!!!!! Honestly, the car is her favorite spot to be, she hops in the passenger seat- curls up- and smiles. Would not need a crate once she knows your home. She has a high ph in her urine (when she urinates, she burns the grass) so she gets one pill once a day and that controls it- ($0.25 per day) Something must have happened in her past (she was a death row dog at a shelter in Oklahoma that we took) that involved guns, or, when you use the hose outside with the sprayer on it. We know this because nerf guns are a no no around Aida- she gets very upset and tries to bite the nerf gun, and same with the hose sprayer. She's totally fine with baths- even the handheld shower head that we give her a bath with- but guns and hoses terrify her. Great family dog, sweet, snuggly, animated, smart, and car rides are her reason for living! No guns, no hoses, no cats, and no other dogs. If you have questions or are interested in a NALA Rescue dog you MUST APPLY TO WWW.NALARESCUE.ORG to be considered! If approved we will reach out to you at the point but please remember to be patient as we are all volunteers. If the dog is posted, it is available for adoption! Once the dog is adopted he/she will be removed from this page. So please NO inquiries if this dog is available

Story
Some puppies charge through life at full speed. This little guy has discovered the perfect balance—play hard, nap hard, and be kind to everyone along the way. He loves spending his days running and exploring outside before happily sprawling out on the couch or a cozy dog bed in the air conditioning for a well-earned snooze. He's incredibly affectionate and adores his human foster sibling, his foster dog siblings, and even his foster cat sibling. One of the things that makes him so special is how naturally respectful he is with other animals. He enjoys making friends but never feels the need to be pushy, making him an easy companion for just about everyone he meets. He also has one delightfully quirky obsession: ice cubes. Hand him a piece of ice, and you've made his day. For such a young puppy, he's already off to a fantastic start. He walks beautifully on a leash, sleeps through the night in his kennel without accidents, and is making wonderful progress with potty training. He's active and playful when it's time for fun, but he also knows how to relax and simply enjoy being close to his people. He's the kind of puppy who will happily join you for an adventure and then curl up nearby when the day is done. He would thrive in almost any loving home that will continue building on the great foundation he's already started. He has an active, playful personality balanced by a sweet, gentle nature and gets along beautifully with kids, dogs, and cats. He's currently working on potty training, sleeps quietly in his kennel all night, walks nicely on a leash, and does not require an experienced owner or a fenced yard. Three things you must know about him: he's exceptionally respectful with people and animals alike, he's already showing wonderful house manners for a puppy, and if you ever hear ice clinking in a glass... he'll probably come running. Joe is a growing Vizsla/Retriever mix (our best guess of breeds) who was was born approximately 3-27-26. He is neutered, age-appropriate vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and given flea/tick preventation. Adoption fee is $575 to help offset the many expenses we have for vetting costs. We rely strictly on adoption fees and donations to continue to save the lives of orphaned & abandoned pets; 100% goes towards their care. ***If you are serious about adopting, you must first complete and submit an application on our website. Our Adoption Team will respond via email from DollysLegacyAdoptions@gmail.com once you have completed an application. If a pet is still listed, it is not yet adopted as we update daily. Story
Please help rehome Miss Shauna. She is between 8-9 years old. She weights 50 pds. She’s a sweetheart once she feels safe, but she’s very cautious around new people—especially men—and needs time to warm up. If you don’t pay her much mind, she’ll eventually come around on her own terms. She currently lives with two small dogs and keeps to herself (they’re not her priority, and that’s just fine by her!). She’s not a fan of energetic or larger dogs, so she’d do best in a home without rowdy canine siblings. Give her a fenced yard where she can run freely, and she’ll be in heaven—she’s full of energy and loves fetch, tug-of-war, and long walks. Mental stimulation is her love language too, so enrichment toys are a must. Once she trusts you, she’s all about the cuddles. She’ll climb right into your lap or nuzzle up as close as possible, showering her favorite humans with affection. A patient, understanding home where she can adjust at her own pace is all she needs to shine.

Story
Hans is a 6.5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer who checks all the boxes. ☑ Affectionate and friendly ☑ Basic obedience with decent recall ☑ House broken ☑ Crate trained ☑ Extensive experience on the sofa, recliner, and bed ☑ Loves to play fetch (sometimes even brings the toy back!) ☑ Gets along well with other dogs ☑ Reportedly good with cats (GPPR has not verified) ☑ Good with children (though he may accidentally bowl over the little ones) ☑ Eager to please and takes correction to heart ☑ Great kitchen supervisor (likes to lay in the kitchen while the humans cook)  ☑ Rides well in the car, preferably in the passenger seat ☑ Professional level cuddler Now, he's not perfect. ☐ Quiet when you leave the house (he likes to share his feelings, but settles down shortly after) ☐ Reserved with kisses (think enthusiastic, not subtle) ☐ Loose leash walker (he does pull) ☐ Ignores suspicious strangers (he takes neighborhood security seriously) He is a Velcro dog who will absolutely become your best friend. He's confident, not skittish, and really what I'd call an easy keeper. Eager to please. Low maintenance. Fun to be around. One hundred percent best friend material. Hans is being fostered in Blair, Nebraska. He will be having surgery soon to repair a hernia but will be available for adoption once he is healed.
