Story
Meet Storm! Storm is an honorary doberman in a Weimaraner body! Storm has officially been waiting for his forever home for 5 years now and just over 7 years old. He is a owner surrender that was bounced around 3 different homes because no one could keep up with his energy. Storm will need a privacy fenced back yard of at least 6ft as he is he could clear anything under that if he chose to. Storm loves people but he can not be in a home with other animals as he doesn't get along with other male or female dogs and he has a high prey drive for the small animals. He will need a very special home that can give him what he needs. On a good note this boy absolutely loves to jump on trampolines and loves playing fetch and will return the ball. He does know several basic commands but does pull on leash but if you use the sit command to make him stop he does pretty well. He is a strong boy so no children should be taking him for walks alone. He would cuddle all day on a couch and bed with you. He is not a fan of storms ironically or fireworks. He has been with children from ages new born to 13 and never had any issues. If you are an active family with no other pets Storm will be the best addition to your home! To apply to adopt Storm please go to www.savingdobermankind.org/adoption-application All animals adopted from us are fully vetted including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test and deworming. Story
Will chase balls, give cuddles, and greet you like a rockstar every day. I am a Catahoula mix with movie star eyes, good manners, and a heart made of cheese-flavored treats. I am the perfect combo of playful and snuggly—and I am on the hunt for a forever home that matches my vibe: active, loving, and peaceful (with zero screaming toddlers, please and thank you). General Socialization Notes: I would really love a home where my humans will train and work with me. I am very ready to learn and I am very smart. I'd love walks to get out my energy and I'd also love nose work and training where I am working and using my brain. I would do well as an only dog or with another dog. I'd really enjoy lots of adventures too! I'm a good boy waiting for my forever family! Does Duke like other animals? I do fine with other dogs. I do like calm dogs and do not really like the pushy ones. I would do best in a home without cats. Does Duke like children? I would do best in a home with older children. Children 12 years old and older would be best for me. Favorite Toys: I love FETCH!! I'd play all day. I also love to show off my toys and carry them around. Ideal Forever Home: I'd love a calm, peaceful home. I'd enjoy daily walks and a nice back yard would be nice. No small children, please. I am ready to fetch your heart with my heartfelt poem: I chase the ball, I bring it back, I wait for you with toy in stack. I'll walk with you, I'll nap just right, I'll cuddle close each peaceful night. Just promise me your calm and care, And in return—I'll always be there. I can't wait to meet you!

I am the perfect combo of playful and snuggly—and I am on the hunt for a forever home that matches my vibe: active, loving, and peaceful (with zero screaming toddlers, please and thank you). I would do best in a home with no cats and no young children under the age of 12yr. I'm an easy-going guy who LOVES to play fetch—especially with my Chuck-It ball. I walk great on a leash (no pulling here!), and I'm super friendly with other well-mannered dogs. People? I adore them. When you come home from work, I'll greet you with my wagging tail and proudly present my favorite chew toy like a prized possession. I'm a certified Good Boy™ who just wants someone to throw the ball and tell me I'm handsome. I do fine with other dogs. I do like calm dogs and do not really like the pushy ones. I love FETCH!! Story
Frankie is a 3 year old neutered catahoula leopard dog mix. I've had him and his brother (also needing a home) since they were 8 weeks old. The reason I'm needing to rehome them is I'm going through a divorce and am now the only adult in the home. I work in the medical field (12 hour shifts) and go to school. I've tried my best to manage it all but it's not fair to them. They are GREAT with babies, toddlers, and kids. They are good with other dogs and love the dog park. They have never been around cats or other animals. They are couch potatoes but do need room to run or be walked a few times a day. Frankie is a huge snuggler and walks to the fridge are his favorite (he's a chonky boy). He is a great guard dog and kids are his favorite people.
