Story
Will chase balls, give cuddles, and greet you like a rockstar every day. I am a Catahoula mix with movie star eyes, good manners, and a heart made of cheese-flavored treats. I am the perfect combo of playful and snuggly—and I am on the hunt for a forever home that matches my vibe: active, loving, and peaceful (with zero screaming toddlers, please and thank you). General Socialization Notes: I would really love a home where my humans will train and work with me. I am very ready to learn and I am very smart. I'd love walks to get out my energy and I'd also love nose work and training where I am working and using my brain. I would do well as an only dog or with another dog. I'd really enjoy lots of adventures too! I'm a good boy waiting for my forever family! Does Duke like other animals? I do fine with other dogs. I do like calm dogs and do not really like the pushy ones. I would do best in a home without cats. Does Duke like children? I would do best in a home with older children. Children 12 years old and older would be best for me. Favorite Toys: I love FETCH!! I'd play all day. I also love to show off my toys and carry them around. Ideal Forever Home: I'd love a calm, peaceful home. I'd enjoy daily walks and a nice back yard would be nice. No small children, please. I am ready to fetch your heart with my heartfelt poem: I chase the ball, I bring it back, I wait for you with toy in stack. I'll walk with you, I'll nap just right, I'll cuddle close each peaceful night. Just promise me your calm and care, And in return—I'll always be there. I can't wait to meet you!

I am the perfect combo of playful and snuggly—and I am on the hunt for a forever home that matches my vibe: active, loving, and peaceful (with zero screaming toddlers, please and thank you). I would do best in a home with no cats and no young children under the age of 12yr. I'm an easy-going guy who LOVES to play fetch—especially with my Chuck-It ball. I walk great on a leash (no pulling here!), and I'm super friendly with other well-mannered dogs. People? I adore them. When you come home from work, I'll greet you with my wagging tail and proudly present my favorite chew toy like a prized possession. I'm a certified Good Boy™ who just wants someone to throw the ball and tell me I'm handsome. I do fine with other dogs. I do like calm dogs and do not really like the pushy ones. I love FETCH!! Story
Noel Noel is a 5 month old beautiful girl (Catahoula mix) who has an alpha personality. It takes her a bit to warm up to you, but once she does she is full of love. She will go potty on the pads and is working on going outside. Noel knows sit, come, outside, no, and working on stay. She enjoys playing with toys and chewing on bully sticks. She does very well on the leash. Noel is a bit dominant towards her brother, Noah, especially when it involves food, toys or treats but is learning boundaries, showing improvement daily. However, she loves to play with her brother and cuddle up next to him. Noel is protective of the home, will bark when someone comes in but will stop when she knows they are welcomed in. It takes her a bit to warm up to someone new, but will quickly come around and want to be loved on.  Noel is independent but still requires one’s love and attention. Enjoys laying next to you and having her belly rubbed. She loves being around her human, following and observing what one is doing.  Noel will make the perfect loyal guard dog, with so much love to give to her forever family. Story
Noah is a sweet 5 month old Catahoula who wants love and attention.  He will bark and nudge you to make his presence known, making sure you pet him.  He is gentle with his shit tzu foster brother, knows his boundaries with him, mostly leaves him alone.  He is a bit timid with his sister Noel, but still loves to play and lay next to her.  Noah loves to play with toys and keep busy with a bully stick. He knows sit, come, outside, no and slowly learning stay. He doesn’t mind getting brushed or having his face cleaned. He will go potty on the pads and is learning to go outside. He is doing really well on the lease.  Noah wants to be around his human, he will lay next to you and watch what you do or follow you around everywhere.  He is protective of the home and will bark if a stranger enters but once he knows they are welcomed in the home he will warm up to them and expect some loving.  Noah is the perfect cuddle fur baby! Story
My husband and I adopted her from the local shelter here and she needs a bigger area to run around. And I’d love to find her a family with a big backyard. She has lots of energy, so will need lots of walks or big areas to run around. Along with some separation anxiety, due to that she does have accidents in her crate from just being so nervous alone.i have worked with her about that though! She’s good with older kids. I believe she would be good with other dogs as well but with slow introductions. She pays no mind to cats. She can be very jumpy and rambunctious which is why a home with older kiddos would be a must/recommended . I want to find her a forever home where she can run around a lot. She loves going on car rides, loves sticking her nose out the window. I can rehome her with all her toys, left over food as well, with her food bowl, and other such things of hers like her crate. I want to find her a good happy home, with a big back yard to run in.

Story
Ernie is a sweet and handsome Catahoula mix…approximately 5 years old. He prefers a tight schedule/feeding time, with naps in his crate (door open). Ernie is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. He loves people, but prefers to hang out with men, and be their best buddy! Ernie is a sweet boy, and beautiful, as well! He is food motivated, so training works very well, with treats! Ernie would thrive best as the only dog in the home, though seems to do ok with cats. ****Ernie is currently in foster care in Dallas/Fort Worth, so transport would need to be arranged.*** If interested in Ernie, please fill out our adoption application: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org
