Emma is one of our most special dogs - and special dogs need very special adopters. Emma was one of the worst cases of cruelty and neglect we have ever rescued (before photo included in her pics). She is looking for an extremely special, patient home to help be the final chapter in her journey. She has come a long way in foster care and is thriving with two furry foster siblings - she just needs an adopter that is experienced and provides good structure at home. The rescue will provide professional training to her new family at no cost to help set her up for success. She has been in an experienced foster and thriving there - she is housebroken, crate trained, gets along great with her furry foster siblings. Hi everyone, I am Emma, a 2 year old Heinz 57looking for my forever family. I am UTD, spayed, microchipped, house trained, and crate trained. I get along very well with other dogs and acclimated well to my foster sisters. I can be protective over my home - after all, when you know what it is like to have nothing, you don't want to lose a great thing - but I have been thriving in my foster home greeting company coming into the house with proper structure and introductions and making so many new friends. I am very mildly nervous with new people, but warm right up with some snacks. Because I can be a bit shy initially, I do feel like I'd feel happiest in a home with only older children as I think the little chaotic type might be a little much for me.  Emma's ideal adopter is:  Not a first time dog owner  Going to provide structure No kids under 13 No cats  Other dogs okay No apartments  Adoption Fee: WAIVED to a foster to adopt home, screening still applies. ##1601782##

Hello all! We run a doggy daycare and one of our neighbors rescued rider from an extremely abusive situation. Since we work with dogs he asked us to watch him. He was malnourished and very skittish for a very long time. But we got him neutered, got his shots, and potty trained him. Even though we have been fostering him for about 3-4 months, he still gets very nervous around new situations and loud noises. However he does really well with other dogs and kids. He gets lots of exercise and really loves to run around and chase sticks. He will probably take a little while to warm up to a new family but he's a very good boy. He is crate trained as well! Once he knows he's safe he loves to get petted and get attention. Just a note if you make any fast motions (like raising your hands etc) he will run but he quickly figures out that he's not in trouble and comes right back.

Bindi is a uniquely beautiful 6 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog. She is housebroken, has a mellow energy level and is calm and well behaved in the home - she is already trustworthy in the house and does not need a crate or kennel. While she does well meeting new people outside of the home, she is protective over her home and belongings when guests come into her home. The rescue will provide new training for an adopter at no cost to help her start off on the right foot at learning to allow guests to come into the home successfully, but she will need an experienced, committed adopter ready to work with her. Bindi is part of our rehoming program and her current family is rehoming her because she does not get along well with the other dog in her home. Bindi is not reactive when meeting new dogs out in public or on walks but again struggles with sharing her space and belongings with them. She would do best as the only dog in the home. We are recommending a home without small children for Bindi, older kids would be okay.  Adoption fee $150, Bindi is spayed and current on vaccines. Located in Orlando, FL. ##2008383##
