Meet Goose 🐾 Goose was found as a stray in Dolton, Alabama, covered in fleas and ticks and in need of some much-deserved care. After a soothing bath and plenty of TLC, this sweet boy got a fresh start—but he still needed a safe place to land while waiting for his forever home. That’s when Goose happily made his way to Big Dog Ranch Rescue, where he has been nothing but a joy. He is known to be very dog-friendly and great with people, making friends wherever he goes. Goose is soaking up the love and care at the ranch, but what he truly wants is a place to call home. With his gentle nature, friendly personality, and grateful heart, Goose has all the qualities of a perfect pup. If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s ready to start his next chapter, Goose is hoping that chapter begins with you. 💙

Freya is a 64-lb sweetheart (likely 70–75 lbs at a healthy weight) with the gentlest soul. She’s heartworm negative, potty and crate trained, knows sit/paw/lay down, and rides beautifully in the car. Freya can be timid in new environments and especially shy with men, but once she feels safe, her quiet affection shines. She loves to lean in for hugs, softly rub against you for attention, and snuggle close to her people. She has bonded beautifully with children as young as five when given time to warm up. She’s cat friendly (she may try to play with a little hop and paw tap!), enjoys dainty play with other dogs, and would do best with a canine companion. Freya will cry when left alone — so a work-from-home or stay-at-home household would be ideal. She’s a wonderful leash walker but feels safest in a fenced backyard where she can relax without the worry of passersby. Freya is incredibly gentle, loving, and loyal — she just needs a patient home where she can blossom into the devoted companion she’s meant to be.
