Story
Meet Lambeau: Lambeau is a beautiful 5-year-old Weimaraner with a big heart and an active spirit. She originally came to us as an owner surrender, was adopted, and later returned due to some challenges around resource guarding. This simply means Lambeau can feel unsure about sharing high-value items like food or special treats—something that can be managed with structure, consistency, and clear boundaries. Lambeau does best in a home with adults or older children who can understand and respect her space when she’s eating or enjoying special items. She does well with other dogs, enjoys companionship, and has a moderate to high energy level, typical of her breed. As a Weimaraner, Lambeau would thrive with an adopter who has previous dog experience, especially someone familiar with active, intelligent breeds. She enjoys engagement, routine, and having both physical and mental outlets. With the right home, Lambeau has the potential to truly shine. She’s looking for someone who understands her needs, appreciates her breed traits, and is ready to build a trusting, respectful bond. In return, Lambeau will offer loyalty, affection, and plenty of personality.

Story
Meet Ghost, a very friendly and lovable boy from Alabama whose owner made the difficult decision to surrender him due to not having enough time to give him the attention he deserved. Despite the change, Ghost’s happy spirit and love for people shine through in everything he does. Ghost is a smart pup who already knows his basic commands—and he’ll even impress you with a fun high-five! He loves being outside where he can run, play, and enjoy all the adventures the day has to offer. Whether he’s soaking up the sunshine or showing off his manners, Ghost is always eager to please. Ghost will be receiving all of his medical care and will be ready very soon to begin the search for his forever home. He’s hoping to find a family who has the time, love, and space to enjoy life alongside him and give him the happy ending he truly deserves. 🐾👻💕

Story
Toby and his brother Harry came into the shelter as strays together. They are so sweet and adorable together but they are very unsure of human interactions. They are both incredibly dog friendly and once they know they're safe with you they warm up and start coming out of their shell. They are so cute when they walk together and they definitely do the pointer one leg up move. It's adorable! They would greatly benefit from being in a home where they can get used to one on one attention. They come out of their shell quickly and were doing great in their temporary foster home and are doing great in their board and train. Unfortunately boarding is stressful for shelter dogs so a forever or foster home is badly needed for them. For more pictures or videos of Toby please follow @kellysfostersflorida on Instagram or FB.

Story
Meet our handsome boy, John. John's story as he was re-rescued from another rescue that was closing down and he only had one previous owner before he found himself surrender to Animal Control for having too much energy. John is a great dog who is friendly with all dogs loves children, and he is a little shy at first when meeting new people, but quickly warms up with his favorite treats. Our ideal home for John would be an active home with a big yard as he loves to run and play outdoors. Jon's DNA test showed he was 53% Catahoula and the rest was a mixed breed of hound mixes and guard mixes. He is currently residing in Loxahatchee Florida. We do ask for an application to be filled out before a meet and greet. However, if you have additional questions feel free to email us at info@kibblezoflove.org. The adoption fee for John is $300 and he is up-to-date on vaccines, healthy, micro chipped, and on monthly preventatives If a dog is listed they are still available.  ##1583193##

Story
This is Lucy. She is a 1 year old lab/pointer mix. She’s a very playful and energetic girl that loves meeting new people and dogs and gets along with kids. She loves to play fetch, steal socks, and cuddle up on the couch. She was spayed when we got her and is microchipped. We are looking for someone or a family that can keep up with her energy, preferably with a backyard or access to dog parks. We are moving out of state and won’t be able to take her with us, we also learned my son and I are allergic to her. We want to find the perfect place for her because she’s truly a great dog.
