I am a sweet and gorgeous young lady who was surrendered through no fault of my own, and I’m hoping my next stop will be my forever home. My previous owner reported that I am house-trained and already know lots of commands, including “sit”, “come”, “paw”, “stay”, “down”, and “heel”—so you could say I’m a pretty smart girl! I’m friendly with other dogs and enjoy being around children of all ages, making me a wonderful potential family companion. Some of my favorite things are going for walks and car rides, especially when I get to spend time with my people. I’m ready to leave shelter life behind and find a family who will love me for all the wonderful years ahead. Could that be you?Mya is a one-year-old, 54.8-pound young lady who gets along well with other dogs, enjoys car rides, is house-trained, loves kids, and is affectionate.

There is no telling what my life looked like before I got here. What I am focusing on is my dream of getting a second chance at life with a loving (forever) family. Despite a rough start in life, I am affectionate and love getting gentle attention from my favorite people. I walk well on a leash and enjoy going for long strolls. I am so ready for a fresh start with a patient, loving family who will help me continue to heal and finally enjoy the comfort and security I know I deserve.
