Hi, my name is Selena! 🐾💜 I’m a beautiful 3-year-old Weimaraner/Retriever mix from Georgia. My story didn’t start out very happy. Animal Control picked me up and brought me to a high-kill shelter where I was running out of time. I was scared, confused, and carrying a lot of trauma with me. Then Big Dog Ranch came to my rescue. ❤️ When I first arrived, I was very skittish and afraid. I wasn’t sure if I could trust people or if I was finally safe. But the wonderful humans here were patient with me and gave me the time and space I needed to decompress. And guess what? I found my confidence again! 🥹 I’ve overcome so many of my fears, and now I absolutely love my humans. We go on daily walks, have playtime outside every day, and I’m learning that life can be filled with good things. And I have to mention the food! 🍽️😋 It’s wonderful here, and for the first time in a long time, my belly is never hungry. I’ve come such a long way, and now I’m ready for the next chapter—a loving forever home where I can continue to feel safe, cherished, and loved. I went from being a scared girl who didn’t know what tomorrow would bring to a happy girl who knows that good things are possible. Could you be my forever? 🏡💜🐾
