Story
Freya is a 64-lb sweetheart (likely 70–75 lbs at a healthy weight) with the gentlest soul. She’s heartworm negative, potty and crate trained, knows sit/paw/lay down, and rides beautifully in the car. Freya can be timid in new environments and especially shy with men, but once she feels safe, her quiet affection shines. She loves to lean in for hugs, softly rub against you for attention, and snuggle close to her people. She has bonded beautifully with children as young as five when given time to warm up. She’s cat friendly (she may try to play with a little hop and paw tap!), enjoys dainty play with other dogs, and would do best with a canine companion. Freya will cry when left alone — so a work-from-home or stay-at-home household would be ideal. She’s a wonderful leash walker but feels safest in a fenced backyard where she can relax without the worry of passersby. Freya is incredibly gentle, loving, and loyal — she just needs a patient home where she can blossom into the devoted companion she’s meant to be. Cloud was found in a rural community searching for food and ended up in a high kill shelter. This baby was very afraid but has responded well to affection. He just wants to be loved. He is sporty and playful and very clever. He would do well with older children, dogs and even a cat. He is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and rescue pays for neuter when he is old enough.
