Meet Jasmine Rose!If you`re looking for a dog who`s equal parts adventure buddy, cuddle companion, and conversationalist, Jasmine Rose may be your perfect match!This beautiful 5-year-old Weimaraner mix weighs 78 pounds and has a heart that`s just as big. Recently, Jasmine`s world was turned upside down when her owner moved across the country. While staying with friends, she struggled to adjust to living with their children and pets, so she found her way to the shelter. Understandably, all the new sights, sounds, and smells have made her a little nervous, but every day she`s becoming more comfortable and letting her wonderful personality shine through.In her previous home, Jasmine lived with another dog without any issues and was known for being playful, affectionate, talkative, and friendly with visitors. She`s the type of dog who loves being part of the action and spending time with her people.Jasmine is an active girl who would love a family ready for adventures. Long walks are one of her favorite things, and while she could use a little polishing on her loose-leash skills, she`s eager to learn. In fact, she`s extremely treat-motivated and thinks training sounds like a pretty great deal—as long as snacks are involved! She`s still working on taking treats politely, but her enthusiasm is hard not to love.Her previous owner worked long hours, so occasional house-training accidents happened, but with a consistent routine and a little patience, Jasmine should have no trouble getting back on track. She was trusted with free roam of the house while home alone, which speaks volumes about her overall behavior in a home environment.Jasmine Rose is looking for someone who will give her the stability, love, and adventure she`s been missing. Hap-hap-happy dog,He’s a happy, happy, happy dog! And honestly? That little song tells you everything you need to know about Happy.This 4 year old Weimaraner/Lab mix recently came to FDHS in search of a fresh start, but you would never guess he’s had a rough patch. Happy greets every day with a huge grin, a wagging tail, and enough enthusiasm to light up the whole shelter.He loves people, enjoys exploring outside, keeps a pretty clean kennel, and seems like a very smart boy. Happy is SUPER strong on leash and will need someone willing to help him polish up his walking manners, but his zest for life is impossible not to love.We were told Happy can be selective with other dogs, though we are hopeful that once he is neutered he may be more open to making canine friends. We have not yet tested him with cats. Happy is also recovering from severe flea dermatitis and is still growing back some of the fur he lost. With time, love, and proper care, he’ll be looking and feeling better than ever.Happy is officially accepting adoption applications at FDHS!**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 85 lbs**
