Meet Marie 🤍
Highlights: Dog, cat, and kid friendly. Marie would thrive being in a home with at least one other dog.
This 1-year-old sweetheart with the most adorable speckled fur is ready for a fresh start after being abandoned in an apartment. Thankfully, a kind finder got her to safety — and now she’s looking for the loving home she’s always deserved.
Marie is a gentle, sensitive girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. She can be a little shy in new environments, especially when things feel busy or overwhelming (cars and traffic aren’t really her thing), but give her a calm, quiet space and she settles in beautifully. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality starts to shine. She has blossomed and integrated beautifully into a her foster home which includes dogs, cats, and young children.
She thrives with other dogs and gains confidence from them, so we are strongly recommending a home with at least one canine companion. She enjoys playgroups, loves to be silly, and will absolutely show off her zoomies. She is a true toy and treat enthusiast, but what she loves most? Cuddles 🥰.
She absolutely loves people and human connection. She would love an active home with either a yard or plenty of physical and mental stimulation.
🐾 Dog friendly — enjoys playgroups and being around other dogs. Marie honestly thrives being in the company of other canines. We are strongly encouraging Marie go to a home with other dogs, as she learns well from them and has gained so much confidence in social settings.

Marie didn’t have much guidance early on, so she’s still figuring things out — but she’s eager, loving, and already making so much progress. We’ve watched her grow from a scared, shut-down girl into a dog who is starting to trust and enjoy life.
With a calm environment, a dog buddy, and a little patience, Marie is going to blossom into an incredible companion.
All she needs is someone willing to show her what love and stability feel like 💛
