HELP! LOSING HOME - FOSTER or ADOPTER NEEDED 11/1! Emerie is a beautiful and unique looking dark silver-gray Weimaraner-Whippet mix (maybe some lab in here too), apx 3 y/o, 65-70 lbs who was saved from euthanasia in an overcrowded southern shelter. She went to a foster home where she has lived with teenage kids and another dog and has really thrived. Sadly, her world will be turned upside down once again because her foster family is moving and cannot take her with them. 😢 Her foster mom says “Emerie is the best cuddle bug ever! She loves to lay beside you and has the prettiest sit for a treat (which she thinks she deserves all the time). She loves both of her brothers, human and dog. Emerie feels safe beside her humans when it’s storming and will try and hide her head behind you. She loves other dogs and tries to play with anyone, she is so sweet to kids. She loves to watch tv and has entered her sassy teenage years talking to you and telling you how it’s going to be. She is such a sweetheart and will win anyone’s heart over. We are going to miss her terribly.” Emerie has no idea that her life is about to change in less than 24 hours when she will be getting on a northern transport with no destination…will you step up for her? This beautiful, apx. 3 y/o, 70 lb. Weimeraner was saved from euthanasia in an overcrowded SC shelter with just moments to spare. She had come in as a stray and no one came looking for her. 😔 Now in a great foster home, Ashlyn Athena’s foster mom has nothing but great things to report! She is on the calmer side (couch potato she says), good with other dogs large and small, and even cats too! She’s housebroken and quickly caught on to the “doggy door”. And, she’s able to be left alone without being destructive (no signs of separation anxiety). All in all, this girl is a perfect gem - now she’s just waiting for a family that will truly love and cherish her and provide a real forever home that she so deserves. We have videos that we can share with you and we can arrange a video meet-and-greet with her foster mom as she is currently being fostered in SC and we can’t bring her up north until she has a family to go to. Scottie is Lab/Weimaraner - 29lbs - 6 Months Old - the perfect combination of a fun, playful puppy and professional couch potato. He loves exploring outside, making new friends, playing fetch, and taking his very important daily naps. Did we mention how smart he is? He loves his crate and spending time in there. He learned fetch AND “drop it” in about 20 minutes, is already letting his foster know when he needs to go potty as he works on potty training, and is he is an excellent listener! His foster describes him as gentle and eager to please. He’s got a medium energy level, the sweetest personality, and a tail that apparently never stops wagging… even when he’s asleep.
