I am housebroken, funny, loyal, rambunctious, and affectionate.I love to run, and when playing fetch, I almost always bring the ball back—unless a squirrel or chipmunk distracts me!I settle down quickly at night, once I know you have, and I enjoy sleeping and being a couch potato.A warning: I may want to sleep right next to you, but I will respect your `no` if you prefer otherwise.My favorite toys are a croissant, a red ball, and a little groundhog. I bring them to bed at night, gently tucking them in right under my armpitsI also like to hide my toys around the house (are they real?),and I’ll bring them to you when you come home,which makes me very happy.I was a very young mother, and my puppies were adopted. Now it`s my turn to be a playful pup!I currently live with three other hounds of different sizes: a small Yorkipoo named Brella,a medium-sized Llewelyn Setter named Gypsy,and a large-sized Mtn. Cur Dog named The Jindu.I give them their space and keep to myself, but I’m always ready to play whenever they invite meMy coat is extremely soft and sleek and I don’t shed.I don’t chew on furniture or shoes, but I do gently nibble at my stuffies. Ruger is a one year old Weimaraner/ lab mix. He was surrendered to the rescue due to his owner's failing health and terminal diagnosis. Ruger is full grown, weighs in at 85 pounds is and is a big goofy barrel of love! He loves affection, playing with toys, long walks and running in the yard. Ruger has a clean bill of health, is up to date on all shots and will be neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. He is looking for a home with an active family who can provide lots of exercise and a large fenced in yard for him to run and play. adoption donation : $699 weight 34 lbs Age 5 months as of 3/24 Sweet Gretel and her three sisters, Eva, Schatzi and Freya, were left in the driveway at the Wags rescue in Mississippi, an all too common occurrence. At first we consider them shepherd mixes, but in a dog scanning app, they appear to be more Catahoula leopard dogs with plott hound—definitely mixes of several medium size breeds. The puppies have been having a grand time playing together and snuggling in a puppy pile to nap. They have all been spayed and given their vaccines and are ready for loving homes. All of the girls are around 35 pounds, they were born in late October. They are friendly and loving and will make great family dogs. Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. She is just the sweetest, most gentle girl, she lives in a family with other dogs and small kids and is just a cuddly love bug with everyone! Ceci was found abandoned in a rural part of Mississippi last fall, her luck change when she was rescued by Wags. She’s been spayed and given her vaccines and is a healthy happy girl. Recently Cee Cee moved over to a foster home, she was a little nervous at first but has settled in beautifully. She is very mellow and will make the most awesome family dog, Cee Cee is still in Mississippi but ready to come up on our transport truck any Saturday. We’d love a home for her with a family that will cherish her and give her the love and attention she deserves. She will be great in a home with other dogs and cats, fine if she’s the only one. Whatever the circumstances, Cee Cee will make a wonderful addition to the family. Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. adoption donation : $699 weight 40 lbs Age 2 years Sweet Stubby was found wandering alone in a rural part of Mississippi, and taken in by an elderly man who fell in love with this gentle boy but couldn’t keep him. He called Wags for help and the rescue took him in, The man’s grandson named him Stubby for his little short legs! Stubby is a sweet boy, he is gentle and gets along fine with all the dogs at the rescue. He was recently neutered and has all his vaccinations and is ready for a loving home. Stubby absolutely loves to be with his people, he follows the director of the rescue all over the property, his little tail wagging. He is gentle with children and just a great family dog. Stubby is house trained at Wags but like any rescue may need a refresher while he adjusted to a new home. Stubby is ready to come to the northeast on Saturday, March 8. He will make a wonderful member of the family. Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use.
