Story
Goose is a 5-year-old Weimaraner. I brought him home from Petland in 2021 and have been his only owner. He is a very active boy who loves to run, go on walks, and play. Goose is neutered and vaccinated and has done well with kids, cats, and other dogs. He can be a little dominant at first, but adjusts quickly and has gotten along well with other male dogs. He gets excited and likes to jump, though he typically doesn’t jump on people. He loves playing ball, chewing on his favorite duck toy, and running around. After a difficult breakup in 2024, Goose became more protective, especially around women and children. He is very loving, but can get uncomfortable if play gets too rough or tense. I want him to go to someone who understands his personality and can give him the patience, exercise, structure, and love he needs. He loves walks and pup cups and even recognizes Starbucks! His vet recommends a large-breed diet; he eats Diamond from Tractor Supply.

Story
We decided to help a lady who rescued Fern and her litter mates. The vet thinks she is 7-9 months of age. The vet, the groomer and the boarder all think that she is a pointer/lab mix. She is a good dog and knows her name, is kennel trained, potty trained and leash trained. She knows how to sit and we are working on stay. She knows "bed" and to go to her bed. She has had her first doses of vaccines. She is fixed as well.We are looking for an individual or family with a decent sized yard, because Fern likes to run and play. She is good with other dogs of all ages. She knows her yard boundaries well, also. Fern is affectionate and loves to look you deep in your eyes. She likes to stay close to you as well and is good off leash and stays close by. She can be timid and stand-offish to someone new at times due to her being a rescue, but overall she is happy. She sleeps well through the night. She doesn't jump on you or get in your face. She is also a quiet, non-yappy dog.
