Story
We decided to help a lady who rescued Fern and her litter mates. The vet thinks she is 7-9 months of age. The vet, the groomer and the boarder all think that she is a pointer/lab mix. She is a good dog and knows her name, is kennel trained, potty trained and leash trained. She knows how to sit and we are working on stay. She knows "bed" and to go to her bed. She has had her first doses of vaccines. She is fixed as well.We are looking for an individual or family with a decent sized yard, because Fern likes to run and play. She is good with other dogs of all ages. She knows her yard boundaries well, also. Fern is affectionate and loves to look you deep in your eyes. She likes to stay close to you as well and is good off leash and stays close by. She can be timid and stand-offish to someone new at times due to her being a rescue, but overall she is happy. She sleeps well through the night. She doesn't jump on you or get in your face. She is also a quiet, non-yappy dog.

Story
On Sept. 19th, we found Jake and his sister, Lilly, on a rural gravel road—abandoned, hungry and thirsty. Jake is a young (maybe a year old?) Lab and Pointer mix (guessing). We built a kennel where he could live until a lucky adoptive family comes along to make him part of their family or until we find a shelter. Jake has been through a lot but remains sweet, trusting, and affectionate.Jake is:• Sweet-natured, loving, and very smart• Has very large paws and strong legs• Energetic and eager to please• Already learned to sit on "down" and "shake" on command• Loves going on walks• Has shown no signs of aggression• Likely house trained (had no accidents overnight on first night in our shop)• NeuteredHe's a sweet, young boy with a loving, playful spirit. He deserves a loving home and will be loyal, committed, highly-trainable dog for your family!💰 Rehoming fee: $0

Story
On Sept. 19th, we found this beauty, Lilly, and her brother Jake, alongside a gravel road in our rural area—abandoned, hungry and thirsty. She's very young (maybe a year old?), and has the capacity for a strong bond with a loving family. We built a kennel where she could live until a lucky adoptive family comes along to give her a forever home; but we can't keep her. Lab/Pointer is a guess; we're not certain. Lilly is:• 🧠 Very smart and eager to please• ❤️ Sweet-natured, loving, and affectionate (wants her tummy rubbed)• 🪑 Already learned to sit on "down" and to "shake" (she's very trainable!)• 👟 A lover of going on walks (and runs, too!)• 🏠 Potty trained (based on not pottying in our shop overnight the first night we had her)Lilly is quite energetic and a very fast runner. She has clearly been through a lot, but she remains sweet, trusting, and is ready to be a part a loving forever family!💰 Rehoming fee: $0

Story
Copper was found roaming the streets of OKC malnourished and scarred. He’s turned into the most amazing little boy who loves his foster siblings and everyone he meets. Patience isn’t his virtue but he is very tolerant of the children (and puppies) he meets. During the day he’s all play but at nighttime he wants to cuddle up under a blanket and enjoy his little luxurious life. He loves his siblings, food and anything that involves jumping all over the backyard. Copper would be a wonderful addition to any family or a companion for someone wanting an adventure buddy.

Story
HI! I'M TUCK! Aka TUCK-TUCK! 3 legs, 0 problems, 100% good boy! That's right, I'm a tripod! I lost a leg somewhere along the way, but nobody told me I'm supposed to be slow. I run, I fetch, I zoom — I just do it with a little extra hop in my step. Vets call me "resilient," I call me "more aerodynamic." The important stats: FETCH IS MY LIFE. I will play until your arm falls off. Then I'll use my 3 legs to bring the ball back for more. 30-35 lbs of PURE perfect size — big enough for adventures, small enough to be your lap tripod. Walks like a dream on leash Crate trained AND potty trained — I'm a gentleman Dog friendly! I love friends! Professional happy boy. My tongue is out 90% of the day. See photo evidence. Shotgun enthusiast. Car rides? YES PLEASE. My one tiny quirk: I'm a bit of a busybody. If I can SEE the neighbor dogs through the fence, I feel it's my civic duty to have a very loud conversation with them. My foster says I'm the neighborhood HOA president. A privacy fence helps me remember to mind my own business and just be cute instead. If you want a goofy, fetch-obsessed, never-slows-down adventure buddy who will make you laugh every single day — I'm your Tuck-Tuck! ##2376927##

Story
This sweet boy is Bruno! He is an approximately 5-year old Pointer/Cattle Dog mix who weighs around 50 lbs. Bruno was adopted as a puppy but returned at 10 months old. The family felt he was too much energy for an apartment and that he needed a home with more time for him and a yard. Bruno is an fun loving goofy dog with plenty of playful energy. He absolutely loves to play and go for walks. He will need a yard and an active family who can spend time with him and give him daily exercise. He also really needs a family who will give him mental stimulation as well such a food puzzles, snuffle matts, and teaching him new tricks. He is a really smart dog and his main issue in his old home is just lack of time spent with him. He spent too much time in a crate and not enough time getting to run and use his brain. If you are looking for a fun dog to spend your time with, Bruno is your dog. If you are looking for a walking or running companion, Bruno is your dog. If your energetic dog needs an energetic friend, Bruno is your dog. Bruno is crate, leash, and house trained. He is good with most other dogs and has played in small groups at a daycare, but can be selective. Due to his energy, I wouldn't put him with young children but children 8 and up would be great for him. He has lived with children in the past and was fine. Bruno needs a stockade fenced backyard and to meet all dogs in the household before adoption. Bruno is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. His adoption fee is $250. If you would like to adopt Bruno and make him a part of your family, please apply at FYDRadopt.com. Bruno is in a boarding situation at this time so he qualifies as a foster-to-adopt or as just a foster. If you are interested in fostering Bruno, please complete our foster application at www.foreveryoursokc.org/foster-application.
