Story
The second I met Chantal Pal I knew there was something special about her. Her love for people is out of this world! The word "stranger" does not exist in her vocabulary, she loves everyone she meets, no matter the size. Even if it's a leaf, she loves it. Chantal is a total love bug so much so that she met a 3 year old for the very first time and completely fell in love with him. She wasn't jumping on him nor was she mouthy and was very gentle taking treats from him. She will make someone a great family dog. See her personality here: Chantal Pal is believed to be a Weimaraner pittie mix approximately 4 years old and currently weighs 60 lbs and full of love and kisses to give. She is a rescue dog and with rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Chantal is dog friendly and did great with all of the dogs we introduced her to. She loves to play wrestle, chase, and is just an all around happy girl. She met multiple dogs ranging in sizes and also with varying personalities and her favorite friend that she made was a young 1 year play pup that she just met and they hit it off! She loved playing with her and one of the funniest things she kept doing was grabbing her leash like she was going to take her for a walk herself. It was adorable! She also isn't play all the time. She knows when to take breaks and will play for short periods at a time. Chantal would do best in home with another dog that is moderately playful, will take breaks on their own, is aloof and carefree just like her. She is medium energy and will get the zoomies from time to time, her zoomies are quite funny to watch too. Outside in the yards you'll mostly find her wondering around exploring her surroundings, taking in the fresh air, getting in a mini play session with doggy friends or she's by her people getting all of the affection. Chantal is also the type of dog that can be adopted out as an only dog as well. She does not need the company of other dogs to feel comfortable or open up with people. She instantly falls in love and melts into you. Chantal would do great in a home with a backyard or even in an apartment/condo style home as long as . She is crate trained, potty trained, walks easy on a leash and is just all around perfect. Please email : Kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport.
