Meet Little Boy – the Bubble-Chasing, Ice-Cube-Loving Chocolate Cutie! Little Boy is a 1-year-old chocolate weimaraner/terrier mix with soulful golden eyes, big floppy ears, and a personality that’s equal parts curious explorer and gentle companion. Weighing in at just 29 pounds, he’s perfectly sized for couch cuddles, outdoor fun, and everything in between. This playful boy is house trained and crate trained—he even cries to let you know when it’s potty time. He does great with tweens and teens and loves playing with dogs of all sizes (30-70 lbs). While he hasn’t shown interest in toys yet, he absolutely adores splashing in his water bowl, chasing bubbles, swatting at flying insects, and being first in line at the fridge for an ice cube treat. Seriously—ask him, “How about an ice cube?” and watch his eyes light up! Little Boy has a medium energy level: active enough to enjoy playtime and outdoor adventures, but also loves his daily naps. He’s learning leash manners and basic commands like sit and get in your box, and currently working on come here, shake, and lay down. Birds and squirrels are very exciting distractions on walks, so continued training will be helpful. While Little Boy is a bit aloof with people and not overly affectionate, he thrives in the company of other dogs and would do best in a home with a playful dog companion. He stays in his crate when left alone (4–8 hours), and although car rides make him a little nervous, he makes the cutest little noises during them. 🐾 Meet Yeti! 🐾 Yeti is a sweet and cautious boy who was rescued in March 2025 from the urgent list at Animal Control, where he was fighting parvo. As a stray, his past is a mystery, but what we do know is that he has a heart full of love to give. 💛 He’s a 2-year-old Catahoula Leopard mix who is fully vetted and weighs 56 lbs. Yeti is a little careful when meeting other dogs—he likes to take his time, observe, and make sure everyone is friendly. With patience, he made a special friend in Missy, who seems to have officially declared him her boyfriend, and he happily accepted the title. 🐶💖 We haven’t cat-tested him yet, but that can be arranged upon request. Yeti is leash-trained, loves spending time with people, and would thrive in a home where he can enjoy long walks and run freely in a fenced yard. Meet Princess! 👑 Princess is a 10-month-old Hound/Beagle/German Shorthaired Pointer mix who came to us from the same situation as Hank, her dad. Her mom is Heidi, also from the same group, so this little girl is truly one-of-a-kind! She’s just about fully grown and is teeny-tiny for her breed mix, weighing only around 20–25 pounds. Princess may be small, but her personality shines bright. She’s a very sweet, affectionate pup who loves people and adores being held. Unlike her dad Hank, who’s on the timid side, Princess is more outgoing and eager to make friends. She’s dog-friendly, playful, and would love a family to keep her busy with fun and love. Like Hank, Princess has likely never been walked on a leash before. When one is clipped on, she tends to freeze up, lie down, or tug against it. Her forever family will need to be patient and help her learn that walks can be fun and safe. With time, consistency, and encouragement, she’ll catch on quickly. Princess is fully vetted and ready to start her new life. She’s a sweet, unique little girl who deserves to grow up in a home filled with love, snuggles, and adventures.
