Story
Hello there, I'm Tom and I love to cuddle and follow my foster dad around the house. Meeting new dogs is super exciting so I should be introduced to them slowly. I get along great with my large and medium sized foster sister dogs and love to wrestle with them! I am high energy but a daily walk helps calm me down. I am crate trained and know how to use a doggy door- call me smart! I don't have much experience around children but do great at meeting new people so that is promising! I would do well in a home with medium or large dogs but no kitty cats. If I sound like your type, get your app in soon!

Story
Meet Rosie, the newest sweetheart at Galena Park 💕 At 4 years old, Rosie may be a little shy in the shelter, but take her out (and maybe give her few chicken nuggets 😉) and her true personality shines. On her Doggy Day Out, she showed just how happy, friendly, and loving she really is. She was even striking the cutest poses in exchange for nugget payments! Rosie has an adorable little bunny hop she does when she gets excited and runs, and she absolutely lights up when meeting new people and kids. She’s still settling in, so she hasn’t been tested with other dogs just yet.

Oz is the definition of a wonderful family dog! This handsome boy has already proven himself to be a loving companion who adored the children in his home, did well with the cat, and happily played with the neighborhood dogs. One of his favorite things was following the girls upstairs and relaxing on their bed while they played—always wanting to be part of the fun.Oz is also a volunteer favorite thanks to his easygoing nature, happy attitude, and wonderful manners. He walks nicely on leash and greets each day with a wagging tail and a smile. If you’re looking for a loyal, friendly dog who will fit right into family life, Oz may be your perfect match.Est. Story
Hello! I’m Buck! It’s nice that you dropped by to view my profile. I’m about 2 years old, crate trained and walk on a leash. I love cuddles and tv time. I love being outside and watching the comings and goings in the neighborhood. I’m super alert at all times and never miss a thing. My foster mom has 3 cats, I don’t chase them but I do watch them play chase around the house. I get along with my foster mom’s dog with no issues, she even has baby ducks and I have no interest in chasing them.    June 22, 2026, 8:38 pm

Story
4 yo Belgian malinois mix Maddox and her 2 year old malinois sister Mel lost their parents, their homes, and siblings to divorce and overnight, her world collapsed. Maddox is a super sweet, almost perfect pup. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. She lives with dogs, a kitty, and two small children, and gets along with everyone. She does love to play fetch, but mostly she is very quiet for her breed, and prefers chilling with her foster family, than play with her doggie foster siblings. Maddox tends to be a bit more reserved and enjoys her own quiet space. Maddox is housebroken, crate trained and very affectionate and better suited as a companion than a high-drive working dog. Maddox weighs 60 lb and is fully vaccinated, spayed, chipped, heartworm negative and kept on proheart 12. She loves to sunbathe, and snuggle. The sudden change in their situation has been very stressful to Maddox, so we would definitely like to find her a home where she gets lot of love, and affection. Maddox is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. To meet our gorgeous pups via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.

Story
Meet Lily  Lily is a sweet girl who loves snuggles, belly rubs, and curling up in your lap. She’s been great with Penny her foster sister and was a bit reactive with toys at first little but with training, this resolved. She loves to sleep in the bed with you, so her ideal home would be a person/ family who enjoys this too. She’s picked up on basic commands very quickly- sit, stay, come, lie down, wait. I’ve also used the wait command to get her to sit and wait while I put her food down before she eats. While these commands aren’t perfect yet, she’s made tremendous progress. She loves to play fetch and retrieve balls and bring balls back to you.  Lily will do best in a home with a yard she can play in she doesn’t do well in dog park settings as she prefers slow introductions with dogs. We suggest a home with no cats  and older children or adults due to energy level.  She does great with being crated so someone that works is gone during the day is no issue she will wait patiently until you return home. She is potty trained which is always a huge plus. She is ready to find her forever family.   To apply for Lily use the link below. ##2620147##

Story
I adopted Kai when he was 4 months old. I have a doggy door that he figured out in 24 hours. Kai is a high energy dog and needs someone that can be firm with him. He is just too strong for me to handle. He is highly trainable but the person training him needs to be strong. He is affectionate, a big old lap baby (he has outgrown my lap) and he will try to sneak into my side of the bed. Most importantly he needs a large yard that he can expend all his energy iand daily walks. Another important issue is the cat. At first he didn’t know what the cat was lol. He chases him and challenges him every day. Smokey has no quality of life. He sneaks in through the doggy door and then Kai chases him to his food bowl (which is up high) he then chases the cat back out the doggy door and over the fence. Smokey is not the problem, he has been raised with dogs and will even give them baths & kisses. Kai needs a better living condition and Smokey deserves peace. My other dog will miss him.
