Story
Hello there, I'm Tom and I love to cuddle and follow my foster dad around the house. Meeting new dogs is super exciting so I should be introduced to them slowly. I get along great with my large and medium sized foster sister dogs and love to wrestle with them! I am high energy but a daily walk helps calm me down. I am crate trained and know how to use a doggy door- call me smart! I don't have much experience around children but do great at meeting new people so that is promising! I would do well in a home with medium or large dogs but no kitty cats. If I sound like your type, get your app in soon!

Story
4 yo Belgian malinois mix Maddox and her 2 year old malinois sister Mel lost their parents, their homes, and siblings to divorce and overnight, her world collapsed. Maddox is a super sweet, almost perfect pup. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. She lives with dogs, a kitty, and two small children, and gets along with everyone. She does love to play fetch, but mostly she is very quiet for her breed, and prefers chilling with her foster family, than play with her doggie foster siblings. Maddox tends to be a bit more reserved and enjoys her own quiet space. Maddox is housebroken, crate trained and very affectionate and better suited as a companion than a high-drive working dog. Maddox weighs 60 lb and is fully vaccinated, spayed, chipped, heartworm negative and kept on proheart 12. She loves to sunbathe, and snuggle. The sudden change in their situation has been very stressful to Maddox, so we would definitely like to find her a home where she gets lot of love, and affection. Maddox is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. To meet our gorgeous pups via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.

Story
Meet Rosie, the newest sweetheart at Galena Park 💕 At 4 years old, Rosie may be a little shy in the shelter, but take her out (and maybe give her few chicken nuggets 😉) and her true personality shines. On her Doggy Day Out, she showed just how happy, friendly, and loving she really is. She was even striking the cutest poses in exchange for nugget payments! Rosie has an adorable little bunny hop she does when she gets excited and runs, and she absolutely lights up when meeting new people and kids. She’s still settling in, so she hasn’t been tested with other dogs just yet.

Story
Hello! I’m Buck! It’s nice that you dropped by to view my profile. I’m about 2 years old, crate trained and walk on a leash. I love cuddles and tv time. I love being outside and watching the comings and goings in the neighborhood. I’m super alert at all times and never miss a thing. My foster mom has 3 cats, I don’t chase them but I do watch them play chase around the house. I get along with my foster mom’s dog with no issues, she even has baby ducks and I have no interest in chasing them.    May 31, 2026, 3:57 pm

Story
Meet Joy — a pup true to her name!Joy is a 5-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix (about 49 lbs) whose biggest talent is making everyone around her feel… joyful. She’s gentle, affectionate and easy-going with her people.Joy loves being close to humans. After playtime, she’s perfectly happy to settle down at your feet or cuddle on the couch for a quiet evening. She has a medium energy level- she enjoys playful bursts, backyard zoomies and walks, but she’s not a nonstop athlete. She’d much rather spend time with her family than patrol the yard all day. She’s fantastic with kids and has been especially sweet and gentle with an 8-year-old in her foster home. Joy loves fiercely and has a tender, forgiving spirit that really shines around children. She takes treats politely and has an adorable habit of trying to give “hugs” by placing her paws on your waist.About her:House manners? Nailed it.Fully potty trainedSleeps quietly in her crate all night (and actually likes it!)Walks nicely on leashNo issues with people or handlingJoy enjoys playing with other dogs, especially dogs her own size who like to wrestle and roughhouse a bit. Her play style can be energetic and physical, so she would do best with confident canine companions who match her size and play energy. She has done well coexisting peacefully with some dogs in her foster home, though play can occasionally become intense with certain personalities.Because of her strong prey drive, Joy should not live with cats or small animals. She is highly focused on squirrels and birds outdoors and would likely chase them if given the opportunity. She also prefers having her toys and bones respected by other dogs, so thoughtful supervision around high-value items is important.Despite an unknown past, Joy has proven to be remarkably trusting, loving, and adaptable. She’s looking for a home that understands her playful, spirited nature and will give her the companionship, structure and affection she thrives on.She’s ready to be someone’s forever companion! Maybe yours?! Joy is currently in a loving foster home in the Houston, Texas area. She is able to travel out of state and we can typically arrange transportation.
