4 yo Belgian malinois mix Maddox and her 2 year old malinois sister Mel lost their parents, their homes, and siblings to divorce and overnight, her world collapsed. Maddox is a super sweet, almost perfect pup. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids. She lives with dogs, a kitty, and two small children, and gets along with everyone. She does love to play fetch, but mostly she is very quiet for her breed, and prefers chilling with her foster family, than play with her doggie foster siblings. Maddox tends to be a bit more reserved and enjoys her own quiet space. Maddox is housebroken, crate trained and very affectionate and better suited as a companion than a high-drive working dog. Maddox weighs 60 lb and is fully vaccinated, spayed, chipped, heartworm negative and kept on proheart 12. She loves to sunbathe, and snuggle. The sudden change in their situation has been very stressful to Maddox, so we would definitely like to find her a home where she gets lot of love, and affection. Maddox is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. Snoopy was starving - and somehow, he was still trying to protect someone else. When we found Snoopy at the shelter, he was painfully thin. Skin and bones. Scared. A dog who clearly had every reason to worry about himself. But Snoopy wasn’t focused on himself. He stood beside his kennel mate, quietly watching over them, as though his job was to make sure they were okay. That told us everything about his heart. And now that Snoopy knows he is safe, we are finally getting to see the dog underneath all that fear. He is pure love. Sweet as sugar. Affectionate. Playful. Happy. He loves every dog he meets and lights up when he gets the chance to play. The scared, painfully thin dog we met at the shelter is beginning to understand that people can be kind, food will keep coming, and he doesn’t have to be afraid anymore. Snoopy is only about 2 years old, a beautiful black-and-white pointer mix who should eventually weigh around 40–50 pounds. He has already survived the hardest part. Now he needs someone to give him the life he was supposed to have all along. A home. A soft bed. Another dog to play with. Someone to love him ridiculously. We’ve lived outdoors with an electric fence and are used to being brought in at night. We do have strong hunting instincts, so a home without small animals is best.
