Story
Percy Needs a Foster ASAP! Meet Percy, Paisley’s brother! This sweet 4 month old boy has had a rough start to life, but he’s finally learning what it feels like to be safe, loved, and part of a family. Now he needs a foster home to help him continue that journey. At 20 pounds, Percy looks like a little chocolate La.5b and has the playful, goofy personality to match. He absolutely loves playing ball in the backyard and is learning that walks on a leash can be pretty fun too. Percy thrives when he has another dog to learn from. His sister Paisley has been a wonderful example for him, and we know having a confident canine companion will help him continue building his confidence and understanding of the world. He’s also learning that a crate isn’t so scary. His foster family has discovered that covering the crate helps him relax and settle, and he’s making progress. We hope to get Percy neutered this week. While he’s at the vet, we’d also like them to take a look at his skin. He had a rough beginning, and we’re hopeful that good nutrition, proper care, and time will help him continue to thrive. Percy needs a patient foster who can give him consistency, affection, and a safe place to learn.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
This lovely lady is Josie and her best friend forever is Betty Sue. These lovely ladies have been together their entire life and will need to go home together. Both have lived with children and cats in their previous home. These dynamic duo was brought to our shelter at no fault of their own and would love to find their perfect retirement home. Josie can be vocal at times so renters should be aware that she may sing her song when left alone for long periods. She will also need a dental that will be completed at our clinic next door. Our kennel team can discuss this more in depth at the time of your visit. Any resident canines will need to come and meet both these lovely ladies to make sure everyone gets along. Josie enjoys the company of her best friend Betty Sue, a nice soft bed, and nice long walks. Josie`s walks and some moderate exercise along with limited calories will be important as she is on a weight loss journey! If you would like to meet this amazing pair of senior ladies please speak with our kennel staff who will be happy to help.

Story
Beau is a pure bred catahoula leopard hound from a breeder in Tennessee. He’s a little over 1 year old and has just been neutered. He’s fully vaccinated and very healthy. He’s very energetic and playful and has a sweet and silly personality. He loves his family and is very tolerant of our kids. We can put our hands in his mouth, pull his tail and ears, mess with his paws, and he never snaps or growls at us. He has been trained over the last year for gluten detection and is eager to learn new skills. He would do well with any kind of scent work. He’s very high drive and needs an active job or a very large space to run. He is rough with our older dog and doesn’t back down when she tries to put him in his place. Having moved to a much smaller piece of property has shown that we can’t keep up with his needs.
