Story
Boone is a 2.5-year-old goofy, happy boy who is always smiling and wanting to have fun with his foster siblings and his people.   He loves running, toys, and treats.  Boone is extremely affectionate and wants his family to include him in all their activities.  He is quite the cuddler once he has had his exercise.  Boone’s foster mom is working with him on manners and commands.  He loves to please and is coming along nicely on his training.  Since his previous owner died, Boone is a little insecure and will need a family that will help build his confidence.  His new family should expect to continue with his training which is not only a bonding experience but will provide Boone the structure he needs to provide him with that confidence.   He will do best in a home where someone is home most of the day. Boone will need a home with a good-sized yard surrounded by a secure 6-foot-tall privacy fence.  He loves to run around the yard and chase squirrels.  He needs daily exercise to keep him out of mischief -  he is athletic and adventurous enough to clear a fence and go on walkabout if not provided with enough stimulation by his family.  Boone would do well with another friendly dog to play with in the home but he could also do well in a home as the only dog.  Boone would love multiple walks a day and would do well with a runner. Boone is the perfect pup for Brittany lovers who understand their energy, exercise needs, affectionate nature, and smarts.  Boone is neutered, current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  Boone’s adoption fee is $400.   If you are interested in making Boone a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the online application under the Adopt tab.  If you have questions after you complete the application, please contact Patti at 801.641.4053.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process.  Please realize that all our dogs are placed in the most appropriate home for their individual needs.  We do not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. July 24, 2026, 10:19 pm

Story
Ginger is a 4-year-old, super friendly, cuddle bug who loves nothing better than being with her people and another dog to play with.  She is very affectionate and will gladly soak up all the attention, belly, rubs, and cuddles that you have to offer.  Ginger loves all dogs and is good with mature children.  She is smart and eager to learn.  She is soaking up training with her foster mom.  Ginger will need a home with a good-sized yard surrounded by a secure 6-foot-tall privacy fence.  Ginger loves to go on squirrel patrol and will do best in a home with another friendly dog to be her partner in running zoomies and hunting critters.  She needs daily exercise to keep from getting into mischief -  she is athletic and adventurous enough to clear a fence and go on walkabout if not provided with enough stimulation by her family.   Ginger is a great dog for Brittany lovers who understand their energy, exercise needs, affectionate nature, and smarts.  Ginger is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped.  Ginger’s adoption fee is $400.   If you are interested in making Ginger a member of your family, please visit www.nbran.org and complete the online application under the Adopt tab.

Story
Sweet Abby is sugar, spice, and everything nice. A perfect recipe of pure preciousness, she is a 5 year (DOB 3/30/2021-exact) orange and white female spayed purebred Brittany. Abby is up to date on all vaccines and a bonafide lovebug. Even though Abby needs a little weight loss, 65 lbs. is not her ideal weight, she is still remarkably close to perfection. Other than some excess weight, Abby is healthy. Abby is calm, eager to please, and extremely affectionate. She had been with her owners since she was a puppy, but unfortunately, one of the owners was having health issues and it was discovered she was allergic to dogs. Abby is housetrained, crate trained and has great house manners. She is very laid back and friendly to adults, as well as children. Abby loves to take rides in the car and will be your best friend. She is not extremely active and has a submissive personality. She is good with both dogs and cats. Because Abby is extremely food motivated, she will need help on her weight loss journey. According to Abby’s foster dad, she is a perfect candidate for an invisible fence. She pulls a little when walking on a leash, but nothing extreme. She enjoys walks with her foster dad and foster fur sibling multiple times a week. As a matter of fact, she has lost some weight over the brief time she has been at her foster home. With food portion management and regular exercise, Abby will be at an ideal weight in no time. Are you looking for a wonderful adult Brittany to join your family? Abby is your gal! Abby’s adoption fee is $350, and she is being fostered in middle north Tennessee. Just a reminder that NBRAN will transport adopted dogs to their approved homes up to 1400 miles, with the adopter being responsible for the last approximately 100 miles.
