We adopted Bambi on May 16, 2024 when he was about 5 months old (his birthday is mid December of 2023). He escaped his previous owner’s yard twice. The first time the previous owner paid the retrieval fee but the second time they let him go up for adoption. He is very high energy, he loves water, he enjoys begin outside, and very social and friendly with other dogs. He was house trained when we got him, and warmed up to us immediately. My work schedule has been become demanding and with him being so high energy, I do not have the ability to take him on long walks and to the dog park as much as he needs. I am looking for a good home, hopefully one where at one person can work from home a couple times during the week. He gets squirrelly when left alone and I cannot support that need anymore. I have doggy beds, a crate, a ton of toys and everything he needs but looking for someone that can physically be there for him more. The adoption fee is to cover the site’s listing fee.

If you are ready to give your heart and get a golden life in return, and the ability to offer a soft place to land, he needs you now. Because loyalty like this shouldn’t get passed over. Reed is living large in his prime years and will require his family will be active with him on a regular basis! He has not been tested with kids or cats, but gets along well with dogs. We would place him in a home with children 10 and up. Reed will be adopted to a home with a secure yard for safe playtimes. He is neutered, Microchipped and vaccinated included in his adoption donation.
