Story
Clover - beautiful Westie Mix's Story Clover is a beautiful Westie mix who came to us from the Weslaco Shelter near the border of Mexico. She’s about two years old and weighs 19 pounds — the perfect size for a travel or cuddle companion. Clover is an adorable, fun-loving little dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She enjoys spending time with her pack, often taking the lead during playtime, and she absolutely loves human attention. Clover brings energy, joy, and love wherever she goes. Medical: Heartworm Negative, Chagas positive *doing great on Dr Madigan’s protocol Clover tested positive for Chagas disease and has already started treatment. With treatment, Chagas is fully curable, and dogs go on to live long, happy lives. Tracy’s Paws is one of the first rescues to test every dog for Chagas, and we’ve had measurable success with our treatment protocol. We are also committed to educating adopters and the public about Chagas so even more dogs can be helped. Learn more here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas Clover is available for transport to St. Augustine, Florida on December 20th with an approved application. Her adoption fee is $450 which includes the transport fee. Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip Breed listings are our best guess, based on appearance.
